There's a few more modern-era LMGs that I can't remember for the life of me; I'll be editing this post later with updated info. i really want to know where they imported these weapon models from.

Killing Floor was released on May 14th 2009. Zeds Dead was formed in 2009 playing their first live set on June 14th. It's possible (but very unlikely) that Zeds Dead is a reference to Killing Floor.

But back on topic here's everything messed up with the "weapon balance":
Medic: The M7A3 is godly on Normal, but sucks on Hard and harder. The Vector could also use a cost reduction because it's just as viable as the M7A3 and because of lack of a red dot sight. The iron sights aren't bad, but the red dot on the MP5 makes it a pretty good choice. Support: The combat shotgun is NOT worth 2500. The long reload time and 6-round magazine will get you killed in close quarters. The nailgun rarely sees use in my arsenal simply because the enemies rarely line up. Commando: No weapons are extremely out-of-line here... though the class is missing something. Infinite vision at level 6, bigger guns, bigger mags- I'm not sure. Sharpshooter: M99 ammo is too expensive. I know it's supposed to be a "Round 11 drain all your cash" weapon but 250 bucks for one shot? I may as well use a crossbow! The Handcannon should also be a tier-3 weapon; a lot of really good builds involving the handcannon involve an empty tier-3 slot, a tier-4 weapon, and 2 tier-2 weapons. Berserker: The Machete is too weak considering how you can disembowel early-round enemies with a knife without any perks. The chainsaw is clearly outclassed by the katana; which is cheaper, more mobile, and can take on scrakes much more smoothly. Firebug: The trenchgun and the flamethrower should be tier-4 weapons because the Mac-10 compliments every other firebug weapon. You'll end up with 2 tier-3 weapons. Demo: This class needs more direct impact/AoE damage. Even level 6 demos are borderline useless on Hard and harder before round 11. The LAW is also outclassed by the M32. I would recommend either increasing its damage so it can hold its own against scrakes and fleshpounds, or reducing its weight to 10 units so that it can be paired with an M79. The M4 grenadier is a gimmicky gun. It's not worth 2500 since the M79 has half the cost and double the number of explosives (which are vital to get you through the round). If there was a situation where one zed was face-to-face with me I could just bunt it in the face with the M79.

Today I learned the hard way that Hellride is a hectic map. Either you're a firebug, you're a berserker, or you're dead. Just hold out in the side rooms.
I've also been playing on the modded KF server, and the admin talked about implementing a new class that provided extra ammo for the team. I've learned that heavy gunners are extremely underpowered for their high recoil and relatively low damage per shot; unless you get your hands on a minigun you're screwed Firebugs are REALLY good in this mod because they can fire molotovs and deny an enemy spawn for at least 10 seconds; in this mode you can have 25 enemies spawn at once. I've been playing a lot of demo; the M79/M32 have a more curved projectile path, and fires mini MIRVs. If you want to kill everything you need the biggest rocket launcher in the shop. Until then the PP19 bison is your best shot for dealing damage until you can make your way towards the pulse rifle. Yes, the pulse rifle from AvP is in this mod; it fires fast and powerful undermounted grenades that somehow don't exploit the fleshpound's weakness to explosives. The pulse rifle hardly has any recoil to it, and has 99 rounds of pure pew pew pew. I find that engi turrets are really tough; it probably has something like 10000 base hitpoints and can't be repaired. This might need a tweak; it's possible to just go all engi, make a circle of turrets, and have everyone sitting around doing nothing.
