That's the funniest part of satire by me; I've heard of several incidents where people have written serious responses to stuff from The Onion.

If you're the antagonist it's the complete opposite of that. Also, here's Godzilla during 'take your kid to work day'. imgur.com/8JQ0ET6

Sometimes it looks like they trail their targets too.

Is there a followup video? What's the deal with reloading? I want that to be a thing.

I think he's referring to the visual representation of recoil that, in real life, would hit the operator square in the face. That's just my take on it.

I've always wanted to see what would happen if we broke down an FPS, and implemented Magic: The Gathering's colour pie into it. We'd then see five completely different factions with completely different weapons and tactics war against each other. mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Color_PieOf course, there are many games that already do this (somewhat). The Red faction would be heavily driven by emotion; fight the enemy where they aren't. These guys are all about blitzing the enemy and constantly harrying them until they cave in. They would have close-quarters weapons and anything else that's compact, easy to handle, quick to kill, and mobile. Their equipment would likely do things to close the gap and eradicate defensive advantages like having the high ground; like jetpacks, breaching charges, and thermite drills. Red armies rarely have long wars since either them or their opponent would have been wiped out by then, but if it ever comes to that they'll gladly throw out some explosives to finish the job. Blue is the polar opposite; they want to be methodical and plan out everything they do. They want to have all the intel, make the enemy blind or delusional, and methodically pick apart an army from there. Likewise blue will make great use of suppressed weapons, and anything else that's silent. They want tools to slip in and out of enemy lines undetected; and if they have to engage they'll gladly make use of holograms among other cantrips. Blue aims for the long-haul through cold efficient calculation. They love punishing an enemy with no plan B, then watching them scramble to organize despite getting bricked. Blue loves it when a plan comes together. Green believes that might makes right and it should stay that way. Of course, they only say that because they usually have some very expensive gear paid for by clients who have a problem and lots of money. They believe that a few soldiers, suited up in a near indestructible suit, a weapon that weighs at least 100 pounds, and enough support to keep him going will provide better effect than a team of average joes. Of course, given the option a team of fancy toys in the hands of roided-out juggernauts works well, too. Green isn't a very mobile faction, but by being able to crush anything in front of them speed isn't as important. White factions believe in civilzation; that a world of order and morality will benefit everyone. White doesn't want to fight, but if the threat is big enough they will. They don't kill without justification, and they can clean out entire armies quickly when rallied together. Rifles are a staple in white armies; anything from a carbine to a sniper rifle fits. It's white's belief that if enough of their troops have lots of ranged weapons they can spread out or concentrate fire better. White always gets the first and the last shot off in every engagement, and every piece of equipment often resonates with white's need for teamwork and synergy. The Black faction is all about guerilla tactics and shock value. Everyone must take care of themself. Black wants to strike despair and place the enemy in horrifying situations; they'll do things no self-respecting faction would consider. Their weapons are relatively slow to act, but effective over time. They'll gladly use flames, mines, toxins of any kind to kill, and they have no patience for the weak or dying. They certainly have no respect for the dead; they're just another asset to them. Black factions often won't win in a straight-up fight, but they certainly love seeing their opponent suffer as they slowly take control of the board. There are also factions that choose to have no color; a purely mechanized one. However, their personality is designed around the fact that they have no personality; in fact any faction is open to use mechs and add their own flavour to them.

There was a post on imgur.com/gallery/Dy79J that talked about Window's installing some seedy updates for Windows 7/8 users. Updates that track what you do and send it to Microsoft without your consent or knowledge. More importantly it discusses how to get rid of them.

i got a minecraft server and played for like three days and got bored of it again I just back into it recently. It's a game that's outlandishly fun at first, then decays rapidly. I eventually lost my way today and deleted the world after attempting to navigate the nether. I thought my compass would have my back and lead me back into the portal, but it doesn't work in the nether. Solo survival is fun. Build a base, cave dive, and come back with so much the loot gods would look at your inventory and go "wait, you're not supposed to have THAT much yet-". After that it goes downhill. Once you explore one cave you can just go home, dig to the bedrock, and make a strip mine so you can get all the minerals you need without having to go out and explore so many shallow cave systems. I mean, I sprained a tendon in my right wrist mining 118 diamonds. The worst change made to the game since I first played was having books require one leather to make. I needed a max level enchantment table, and I have done nothing but kill cows for three days getting it. EDIT: Oh. You only needed 15 book shelves to get to max level. I could have used that information earlier, WIKI.
