You are my bro, bro
As it turns out, the developers of Battlefield 3 have access to weapon attachment combinations that aren't available for the common BF3 player. These include:
SPAS-12 + Suppressor (In case someone missed the video) Saiga 12k + Suppressor (Used to be unlockable for everyone after 400 kills, but was short-lived)
L96A1 + 20x Scope
44 Magnum + Laser + Suppressor (Also has a different-colored barrel) M1911 + Tac Light + Suppressor (The S-TAC used to be a dev weapon) M93R + Laser
For the most-part I'm not even bothered by the extra attachments knowing that there's mixed traits to every one. Most attachments in BF3 don't necessarily make a weapon outright stronger, rather they change its role. Maybe the M93R Laser sounds a bit crazy, but it's really not a big deal considering that it's a pistol.
After doing a little research there are other unconfirmed/probably untrue dev weapons out there. I've heard these weapons exist, but personally have never seen images/video footage of these weapons.
M1014 + Suppressor
M60E4 + 8x Scope M60E4 + 12x Scope M249 SAW SOPMOD (Grip + Laser + Bipod + Suppressor + Kobra Sight unlocked right off the bat)
If anyone can confirm any of the unconfirmed dev weapons please join in. Until then I'd like to hear your thoughts on developers weapons; are they ethical?

I believe they are ethical, yes. It's not like they're going to be used by competitive teams, it's just for the devs to have a lil' fun.
If those were released to the public, then it would be a problem.

Yeah, I have no problem at all with it. Pretty sure you are more likely to run into a hacker then a dev anyways.

Hilarious and fun. In fact, I think game makers should do MORE things like this!

You mean Team Fortress 2? Yeah. I've heard of that, and something about a lot of hats in the game. Never played it, though.

Still think it a nice idea maybe these was removed from the game due to not being worth using on certain setups ?

The SAIGA had a silencer listed in Battlelog for a while. They removed it a patch or two ago. Too bad you couldn't actually unlock it.

Going back to the launcher with godly stats; the only way a weapon like that would ever have a function in any FPS is if there was a game type where one player, or a select minority of players against everyone else. That being said, it probably wouldn't hurt to see FPSes fool around with asymmetry more. I've seen enough game types with X number of men versus X number of men, 1 cap 1 point, 1 kill 10/100 XP, on a symmetrical or ying-yang map. At the same time, it would seem ill-suited to have a game type where 8 super soldiers face off 56 normal soldiers in the universe of Battlefield. That sort of thing would seem more feasible in a game of Crysis. Hm... looks like I got my foot stuck in my mouth. Forget about emphasizing more on asymmetry. There's enough problems on the symmetrical front as is!
