DICE has just released patch R8 for Battlefield 4 Ranked Servers.
Change Log:
- Fixed a number of dog tags that were showing up as blank in-game.
- Lowered the damage caused by Mobile AA Active Radar missiles to aircraft. The previous damage was incorrectly set too high.
- Added support for live scoreboards on Battlelog. This lets you see the current score and status on a server before joining -- such as the number of targets remaining in Obliteration mode.
- Improved server crash reporting and performance tracking on all platforms. This should further help us identify and fix server crashes going forward.
On the subject of patches should we only list the major ones where half the weapon pool gets nerfed or something?

Server patches usually aren't that interesting gameplay-wise, though apparently weapon damage and stuff is supposed to be changable through server patches instead of client ones (as in BF3).
They probably don't want to tinker around too much yet, as the game has been out for only 2 weeks and hasn't even hit the next gens yet. Don't disagree with it There's more important stuff to focus, like half of the playerbase seemingly unable to play the game without crashing repeatably

Nothing interesting yet, but this: - Added support for live scoreboards on Battlelog. This lets you see the current score and status on a server before joining -- such as the number of targets remaining in Obliteration mode. was quite necessary. I really don't like joining right at the end of matches, and I thought it was weird that BF4's Battlelog didn't do this when BF3's did.
