Everyone here's got their favourite videos to watch here and there, but are you subscribed to someone who consistently puts out quality stuff? Things you just have to watch every single video from them the moment it hits your page? Could be just about anything from those golden apples, really. The fact we could share our favourites will do good for everybody. :3 Here's two examples from my end:
1. Ashens. He's a cynical, deadpan reviewer from the UK. He does all sorts of items, but usually deliveries from subscribers and cheap tat from what are essentially dollar stores. His judgement is pretty much spot on, and it'll often have you laugh your ass off, or cringe at the things he's been blessed with. Said things he looks at are extremely variable too, often at his own expense at that. Case in point, two of his videos which deal with wickedly bad delicacies and generally half-assed action figures. :3
2. Igor Presnyakov. He's a Russian acoustic guitarist with great renown. As a YT sensation, he appeals to his fanbase with numerous covers of classic songs or even that of themes from popular franchises. To that end, some examples are Michael Jacksons' Smooth Criminal or the Super Mario Bros. theme. Igor also rarely sings any of the lyrics to any kind of song that he covers, and instead skillfully translates them into a guitar melody, having his instrument sing the words. He's also notable for his technique in drumming with his guitar, melding it seamlessly with said music.

For people I sub to who regularly post content:
CarbotAnimations - Starcraft animated shorts. For those who don't get the humour it's a silly web series, for those who do get it it's satire of all the quirks in Starcraft 2's metagame.
Clayman90 - Variety gaming with preference to FPS, no commentary, and all was good with the world.
Day9TV - Today we'll be looking at Starcraft 2 professional match commentary/play-by-play analysis.
ExtraCredits - Mousey has stated time and time again that she LOVES these guys as they delve into game design and explore random topics, and everything they say isn't that obvious.
HuskyStarcraft - Starcraft 2 professional match commentary, Bronze League Heroes, patch updates, and everything else SC2.
LORE - A channel full of 90-second animations covering the backstory behind the world of a given game or fun, obscure fast facts about its development.
RivalXFactor - The occasional pubstomping match of BF4 is fun to watch.
TheWarOwl - Counter-Strike professional match commentary.
TotalHalibut - Mostly video game coverage/review. Also if anything is outlandishly immoral/broken with the video gaming industry he'll probably swing a banhammer to that.
XboxAhoy - ...and today we'll be covering myself with blankets. Because it's bedtime, and I'm sodding tired.
Zero Punctuation - Probably the most hilarious cynical "review" for games you can ever find anywhere on the internet. You have to assume that everything Yahtzee doesn't s*** on is okay or better.

Vlogbrothers- John and Hank Greene "talk" to each other through alternating videos about...well just about everything, nerdy things, jokes, politics etc... They also started several other channels like SciShow and CrashCourse which are awesome
Cinema Sins- which humorously tallies up "Sins" in popular movies
Screen Junkies- which most known for Honest Trailers. Redubbing trailers to explain what the movie is actually about. My personal favorite is Paranormal Activity which features "stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, that girl from Lost? And stairs" "starring... no one"
PBS Idea Channel- a weekly show that takes a topic in pop culture, the internet, movies, books etc... and does a breakdown and analysis of said topic. With videos like. "Is Avatar: The Last Airbender anime?" "What is fiction?" and "Does fiction exist?" "Can you actually 'enjoy' Breaking Bad" "Is Google knowledge"

Excluding ones already mentioned.
5 Second Films - RIP in peace Angry Joe - One of the better video game reviewers on youtube. GameGrumps - The best of the lets players imo. Still was better with... JonTron - Best of the "AVGN ripoffs". He even copied AVGN's infrequent upload schedule. LinusTechTips - Best source for new PC parts/reviews. Nostalgia Critic - High quality, entertaining video about a movie every 2 weeks.' The Onion - Only legitimate news source. Pro Jared - Another of the better video game reviewers on youtube. Rev3Games - Adam Sessler moved here. Watch for his reviews. Rocket Jump - Weekly, high quality videos. The channel was formerly called freddiew. Smooth McGroove - Video game acapella. Vsauce - High quality videos once a week. Definite sub.
There's more I'm forgetting.

Oho, I just went in and cleared out a ton of my subs, so here we go.
First, Boogie2988 - HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THIS GUY? The Francis stuff isn't my taste, but his serious commentaries often are, no matter how I may disagree with him, he's got the right attitude. BuzzCutPsycho - I eagerly anticipate his return to PlanetSide 2, and in the meantime I will enjoy watching The Enclave beat the snot out of whomever they may face. CarbotAnimations - as stated above. DaThings1 and KevinTAckerman - for all my YouTube Poop needs, the latter of which does "top 10 YTPs of the month/semiweekly etc." Extra Credits - for all my game design concerns. Their content is excellent. HelixSnake - for those 10 second Skate 3 clips. Improv Everywhere - They might not upload often, but when they do it's of extreme high quality. MisesMedia - for all my Mises institute related videos, interviews, lectures, and 'Mises View' videos. Mowtendoo - Oh boy, the master of [MAD] and Old Spice. I guarantee you've seen many of his works. Rocket Jump - as stated above. Smalin - Steven Malowinsky makes these awesome visualizations of classical music that scroll on by. Smooth McGroove - as stated above. TheRussianBadger - hilarious, I go to him whenever I want to see anything Battlefield related. VGBootCamp - GimR is the premier Smash streamer, who uploads every single match that's played on his equipment at whatever tournament he goes to, and a few other things. Though I don't watch them all it's still hype. Add a bunch of SFM or Gmod video makers here who I shan't list individually due their inconsistency.

aside from people already mentioned: BlameTruth - even though he doesnt upload FPS games any more really, sometimes I watch his pokemon showdown videos, but I liked it more when he talked about different things, now it is mostly only about the gameplay. SergeantMerrell - mainly uploads things like BF4, PS2 and sometimes Insurgency or RO2. his RO2 gameplays are very fun for me to watch even though I don't have that game ELPRESADOR - he uploads some funny things sometimes, but I do not watch most of them since they are usually him pretending to be mad about something. my favorite video from him is probably this oneMrTimeItself - does some good in-depth analyses of things mainly in CoD and Battlefield games, usually they are pretty interesting and do a good job of explaining the idea. he also posts on here, so he is a Real Cool Dude I have not really watched many youtube videos recently though, I am slowly getting bored of them and doing other things

I'll start this off by saying I'm a really picky youtube watcher. Lots of popular tubers make me gag with the "hey guys" attitude...idk. I pretty much only follow one group of "let's players" and the rest are either fun intellectual discussion channels or comedy. That said, because my list is so small I really do highly recommend any of these (especially the let's players). So much so that my schpeels are probably going to sound more like fanboying than anything :/ 1. "Video Games Awesome" Originally these guys were the cast of an old show called "Awesome Video Games" which was a spoof of 90's Nintendopower-esque video game marketing strategies. You either got it or you didn't. Many years later they started up a let's play show. I remember it being really awesome that they had a minecraft server that would host monthly "build shows" in which they would spend 7-8 hour blocks showing off everyone's creations for that month. I thought it was really cool that they were that involved with their subscribers. Then they branched out and started playing brand new games, but because of the lack of youtube moneys they ended up not being able to pay to have the third main host around much of the time. (there are 5 of them, but the main hosts are Fraser and Becky). Ben is definitely the most funny guy though... Btw I recommended watching would probably be their playthroughs of ME 1-2-3, Heavy Rain, and my personal favorite Last of Us. Overall I really just love how they play games for the story and are willing to forgive meh gameplay for that. 2. Teamfourstar/Little Kuriboh I'm a sucker for the old school "abridged series" guys. They only got better with time. I really enjoyed their latest rendition of Shingeki No Kyojin abridged (better known as Attack on Titan).Hellsing was really good too. 3. LagxPeanutPwner (renamed as Teo) This guy is pretty hilarious. The laugh is infectious. These were the people that made Riot Shield Trolling a thing in MW2. I probably have them to blame for my obsession. The group stopped playing CoD around MW3 times and started playing TTT. Good stuff. 4. Extra Credits. If you can get over the voice it has some really good things to say about the future of video gaming as a medium. This stuff is important to me because of the college/career path I chose. 5. PBS Idea Channel. Philosophy Meets Anime/Games/Modern Culture. Really intellectual stuff. This show won lots of awards and is the most popular channel I watch. 6. I watch Nostalgia Critic (Doug Walker) but on his main site. TGWTG is a pretty cool guy. site. thing.

Boogie2988 - HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THIS GUY? He doesn't do anything other than state popular opinions. Great to sub to if you are into confirmation biases. Also his intro annoys me.

I usually don't get the popular opinion any other way, then, and as I stated I disagree with him often, frequently leaving long comments detailing my departure from his point of view. I'm presuming you left that part out of the quote because it could possibly undermine your conclusions about me? Your comment almost feels like an attack, but I'm fine with that. My favor of him is that he has the right attitude about things, "sticks and stones", politeness to those who are polite, and often moves through an issue with grace. It's fair enough that his intro annoys you, I don't much care for it either.

I'm, not subscribed to anyone but I still follow them.
Mikelat: Usually FPS let's plays but with tons of sniping and stupid/interesting tactics. He's also pretty good at FPS games. His co op sheanigans with others are also really funny sometimes.
Markiplier when he doesn't do Happy wheels compilation or "scary" reactions. His co op prophunt/minecraft with other youtubers is much more better IMO
I can't believe someone here knows Lagxpeanutpwner aka Teo. Props to Dumien for knowing him. Teo's fails at CSGO and teamwork fails in other games are hilarious to watch.

...is a gaming channel that isn't very aligned to the demographic of the people in this forum or a lot of more hardcore gamers in general.

I remember I discovered him while looking for Ao Oni reaction videos and didn't actually mind him for his older videos, it was less forced. Now he's nothing more than a caricature, similar to Toby Turner.
Also AzuriteYT is pretty good for vidya game commentary, he usually does lesser known games and doesn't afraid of anything. Except the Grey Man in the LSD game and wide open spaces. Seriously his horror game videos are hilarious he doesn't even flinch.

Zampakid is the greatest channel on youtube. Here's why: he has recorded all the station's promo sections for their programs. That's the sole purpose, he has over 1000 videos of promos for that night's news movies programs and a a current afairs programs.

I've never subbed to anyone although I used to watch our own resident Youtube Hero stuff regularly during MW3. I have seen the occasional video from various people, sometimes from here, others from other gaming orientated sites etc.

How can you just have picked up vsauce? If you want a similar channel try numberphile, on numberphile they have quirky math concepts and shiz.

Computerphile is also pretty neat; at least when I know WTF is going on. He's good and all... he just doesn't post anymore. I'm also subscribed to Woodysgamertag. I like him. I'm annoyed at how he doesn't know jack all about video game design, but beyond that he's pretty entertaining. I've been following Painkiller Already since the MW2 days, and while Wings is gone I'd say it was for the best. I mean really, the dude was whining about his channel for the longest time; it was just annoying. Because I have to subscribe to the Escapist to get all the latest Zero Punctuations I've also tuned in to Jimquisition every now and again. I'm quite aware that the show is just some guy publicly shaming terrible practices in the video games industry; but that doesn't make it any less entertaining.

The problem was that he never felt like it for the past year or so. Add that on to the whole survival trip fiasco and he had to go.[/quote]
