IMHO it has to be Adrenaline Transfusion. You are permanently stimmed in addition to your regular tactical ability, that's sick. I did it with Active Pulse + Shotgun, feels god like :-) finished the game with perfection and did not lose a single gun fight (Did not have Run n Gun unlocked at the time, does that work for Shotty? If yes, that would be the god mode combo...) Ghost Squad is a distant second in my book. Permanently cloaked, very dirty What's yours? Discuss...

Outsource. You'll get reductions for everything making your build and charge times super short.

Map Hack. Next best are cards that let you call in Titans instantly.

Echo Vision or Maphack. I think I slightly prefer Echo Vision because it keeps my eyes on the game instead of on the minimap. Though I imagine it doesn't catch cloaked pilots. The key to both is to make it to your Titan with them Echo Vision plus a cluster bomb is a pretty nasty combo. I don't think Ghost Squad or Adrenaline Transfusion really qualify because once you're in your titan they accomplish nothing. Also the Ghost Squad flicker lets Titan snipe you. No thanks. I almost prefer Active Camo, feels more reliable.
Also it depends on game-type. Adrenaline Transfusion might be great for CTF, but it's kind of junk for Last Titan Standing. I play mostly Attrition. One of my go-to cards is the Amped R101C. It's got my preferred sight, it tears people up, and it gets me straight into the game earning points where if I'm playing one of the rare cards I might play too defensively and start putting my team behind.
I just wish I could remember to play a card every time I die. I think a lot of times I just play one during the dropship animation. Considering how many I end up tossing, and how rare zero death games are for me... I could do a lot better at managing it. On the bright side I do discard enough to where I'm not tossing my good cards. Though I did toss a refurb Atlas once on accident while trying to dump the nuclear ejection card.

In general, ss there a place I can go to find the complete set of possible cards?

You get 2 Map Hacks at level 40 and 2 Echo Visions at level 45. I'm sure there are other ways to get them too. Map Hack puts all players on the mini map constantly, and Echo Vision gives you a constant Active Radar Pulse. There is a complete list here: titanfall.gamepedia.com/Burn_Cards

I must have missed them in Gen 1 because I did not have enough room. I will definitely make sure to have room for them at Gen 2.

Do you happen to know; when you have that active and you fire your gun, do you show up on the minimap as a player or as a minion? What if the enemy has a minion detector active and you fire?

I used Spectre camo yesterday, and it is very cool. Enemy pilots tend to ignore you until too late, producing lots of funny encounter moments . For example, I am sure that my opponent must be screaming WTF when I (camouflaged as a spectre) switched to pistol to finish him off. forbiddenone: I can't answer your question with certainty, but common sense suggests that you should show up as pilots instead of minions on mini-map. If that's indeed the case, using an un-silenced weapon is a solid strategy. When enemy pilots see the big red dots and come hunt for you, they would definitely ignore any spectres

I used Ghost Squad last night and had a good run with it, almost lasted the whole game (Attrition) but I only was able to milk 9 Pilot kills. Got a little too bold at the Evac and got killed trying to intercept the bad guys trying to escape.
The spectre thing was cool too, but I don't know if I had such good luck because I was a spectre or the other team was just bad :-) I did happen to get a lot of kills head on...

Heh I'm still new enough to this game the spectre thing prolly wouldn't make much difference as I still pretty much shoot everything that moves unless I know I'm hiding from someone hunting me or I'm up on a vulnerable rooftop. Rooftops make me paranoid. Good for teh parkourz and field of view, but I there are so many possible threat vectors that if you do get shot at there's little hope of locating them and shooting back before you're dead. Well at my level of map knowledge, that is... which is nil. Having a hard time with learning the maps because I used to always start up empty private games to explore and experiment in. Doing it all mid combat makes me sheepish. (Well unless I'm just getting trounced and then I throw on smart pistol and go parkour-exploring and basically run around dying a lot. I wish I could name my loadouts, that one would be "oh fukkit!".)

I absolutely agree with the OP.
Adrenaline Transfusion is the absolute BEST card in the game, nothing else even comes close.
I combine it with cloak as my tactical ability.

#1 Maphack #2 Perma-cloak #3 Titans #4 perma-stim
I watch the minimap very closely at all times making maphack my #1. Permacloak allows you to jump-kick or execute grunts/spectres/pilots as much as you want, be essentially invulnerable to groups of enemy titans. And I use stim on every class anyway. Perma-stealth with stim is much more in my comfort zone.
Perma-stim is strictly inferior to perma-stealth is just about every way IMO. Stim doesn't work how people think it does. It just halves the out of combat time needed to regen, and the time it takes to regen from 1 health.

1) Map Hack is definitely the best, no doubt (I did not know its existence when I posted the OP). Having enemies positions known at all times is just too powerful. 2) Echo Vision (Perma Active Pulse) is probably the close 2nd. Able to see through wall at all times is incredible. 3) Regarding Ghost Squad (perma-cloa) vs. Adrenaline Transfusion (perma-stim): I actually prefer latter + regular Cloak slightly over former + regular Stim, because 1) greater mobility gives you an edge in almost everything, and 2) Regular Cloak recycles significantly faster than regular Stim. 4) Titan burn cards are super powerful for objective game modes. For attrition however I like the above 4 better. 5) Spectre Camo for creativity and fun factor Besides these cards, the one I liked most is Satellite Uplink. Revealing enemies every 10 seconds is still very powerful.

For new players who don't know this: some of the best cards are rewarded at fixed levels (they are also rewarded outside of these levels from time to time): titanfall.gamepedia.com/Burn_Cards . As a result, it is very important to make sure that you have enough room in your deck before reaching these levels, because otherwise you'll miss them. Pack 1 (Level 25) Pack 1 grants the following Burn Cards: Adrenaline Transfusion x2, Smuggled Stimulant x2, Prosthetic Legs, Amped EVA-8, and Amped Charge Rifle. Note: Could be different. Pack 2 (Level 30) Pack 2 grants the following Burn Cards: Ghost Squad x1, Active Camo x2, Satellite Uplink, and Personal Alarm System. Pack 3 (Level 40) Pack 3 grants the following Burn Cards: Map Hack x2, Satellite Uplink x2, Amped Mag Launcher, Amped Archer, and Amped Sidewinder. Pack 4 (Level 45) Pack 4 grants the following Burn Cards: Echo Vision x2, Aural Implant x2, Packet Sniffer, Amped DMR, and Personal Alarm System. Pack 5 (Level 50) Pack 5 grants the following Burn Cards: Atlas Refurb, Reserve Ogre, Spare Stryder, and Spectre Camo x3.

Map Hack (by far, use them on maps with minimal multi-level buildings, because it will diminish the effectiveness of this card) Ghost Squad (combined with stim ofc) Atlas Card Stryder Card (Capture the flag anyone?) Ogre Card Adrenaline transfusion Most wanted list (is better than titan salvage because most wanted list also seems to give a bonus vs titans 90% of the time on Xbox 360, is that a bug?) Satellite uplink Echo vision (would be higher if it had any way to distinguish pilots from grunts) Amped carbine (to bad it doesn't rock a silencer) Thin the ranks (about as effective in reducing titan time than pull rank in my experience, but you also get extra xp) Pull rank Titan salvage/Precharged core ability (not that good, but worth using later in a game, awesome in LTS though) memorable mention: amped Hemlock, compared to its normal version, the amped version works actually pretty well in maps like angel city or bone-yard Seems like getting to gen 10 lvl 50 asap is not the brightest idea I realised today, because you will rarely get any good burn cards when you are lvl 50 and have most challenges completed already (doing the 50 goosers right now, so I know how it feels to be lvl 50 for about 10 hours ). Does anybody know what it means when you see: "burn card unlocked, spectre" for example, right above "killed spectre +30"? I can't seem to correlate it with getting any actual burn cards. Hmm, that might not make sense to everybody ^_^ My question might be more clear like this: How do you get burn cards besides challenges and leveling up?

How do you get burn cards besides challenges and leveling up? Through XP. There are many different "XP Types" that are recorded, their tallies and goals persist across matches and remain unseen. Depending on what you do and with what you use to do it, you will get specific Burn Cards. You will see when you get a non-Challenge related card when the score feed at the bottom of the screen reads something other than " Burn Card Earned: Challenge", like " Burn Card Earned: Grunt". When you look at the Last Game Summary, you will usually see that you've earned more Burn Cards than you've completed Challenges. Assuming it isn't a Challenge that gives you multiple cards, those are the XP related Burn Cards. For example you may notice that if you were using a specific weapon to kill enemies, you will earn Amped Cards for that weapon. Get kills with Arc Grenades, you get Shock Rocks. Kill lots of Grunts, you will probably get a couple Thin the Ranks Cards, with a chance to get something like Conscription or Double Agent. Kill or Hack Spectres, you get Urban Renewal or Wifi Virus cards and sometimes the Spectre Camo card. Basically, you will get more of the same cards that you would have gotten if you had completed a Challenge whether or not you complete a challenge. There are also purely random cards that are earned as a result of total XP. That's the gist of it. Unfortunately the details don't appear to be in the Scripts (only the mention of the XP Types), they must be in one of the Libraries.

Amped Archer is pretty good. I usually die too fast to utilize many of the cards unfortunately. I did manage to have a good run with the unlimited satchel charges the other day. -Went about ten minutes just tossing satchels from rooftops and causing havoc with enemy Titans and ground forces. Was great fun!

Is there any surefire way other than hitting level 50 to get the "spare titan X" cards?

Is there any surefire way other than hitting level 50 to get the "spare titan X" cards? Complete certain challenges will reward them. For example, getting 50 Titanfall drop kills will give you 3 burn cards, one of each chasis type. To see which challenge reward what, you need to go into "challenges" and browse through.
