Suppressor definitely feels like a good choice on pretty much everything despite the damage reduction, but as I'm unlocking things bit by bit I'm curious what the bros thing.
I'm particularly curious about the sights. Are they really worth using vs irons unless they convey some special stat? Are any to be avoided? I heard the AOG is basically the CoD ACOG in that it increases zoom but then ruins it's long range performance with increased recoil. I never really understood the logic behind that as it seems like such a sight is a strait up downgrade over pure irons.

HCOG on everything. Suppressor on R-101C. The DMR is pretty good with whatever the lowest zoom scope is... I forget which is which.. Holosight? I'm just doing the G2A4 challenges now for Gen 7. Haven't figured out its least useless mode yet, but I'm feeling like suppressor just makes it too wimpy. Oh and of course for CAR you may as well rock the counterweight.
Irons on everything. I've hated chevrons since COD4 and I'm not starting to like them now so I can't use the HCOG. The irons are super open anyways and all the other sights are too busy. ACOG on a few guns too.
Extended mags is my goto attachment cuz I spray and pray hipfire like no other. Silencer feels too weak although if I played smarter I could probably use it.
Pretty much all the sights do is change the FOV (zoom). The LMG HCOG changes the ADS time from 0.7 in and 0.8 out to 0.2 and 0.2 which is huge. Probably cuz they copied it from the hemlok.
Suppressor on the carbine is basically free since it's so accurate that the extra shot doesn't make a big difference. I can often get at least one headshot in there, effectively making it the same BTK as the unsuppressed version. Same with the Hemlok since it will usually take 2-3 bursts to kill anyways.
I think all the sights are useable and basically depends on cosmetic and zoom preference. I like the irons on most weapons because they are often very clear and the lower zoom makes it easier to track targets at close range.
