Did you like the first Infamous game?
If you did, you'll love Second Son. If you did not, you won't love Second Son.
That's pretty much it

Don't forget about Infamous 2, prior to Second Son. That shit was grand, too. :3

Story? Sure, but not so much on the gameplay and content I deem. You get a plethora of ways to use your powers, which now include pyrokinesis and cryokinesis -- totally varied playstyles in addition to your electricity. To top it off, replayability has been a boon thanks to the custom map editor; there's many, many things people have you doing... like puzzles, survivals, boss fights and the like.
Also, vampires. :3

At the time of Infamous 2, I was into COD mostly. So although I purchased and played Infamous 2, I did not give it the justice it deserved.
Nevertheless, while Second Son is fantastic, in terms of graphics, sound, gameplay, etc.... the core of the game remains the same from Infamous 1... so if you didn't like the first infamous, you won't like second son. If you did, then you will love SS very much
