Does any one know where exactly they are? It's to predict movements and to help in 1 on 1 game battles matches. I know seeing where grunts spawn is an indication, but I was looking more for hard spots on the map. Thanks!

In general, it seems to be pretty much the same style of spawning as COD games. That is, it spawns you in a spot where the enemies are not, but won't spawn you at the far side of the map if it's dead over there. It's not nearly as brutal as COD though because the maps are so large, but I have spawned into a jump-kick and neck-snap or two.
I'm kind of disappointed about it. I would have much preferred if they utilized some of the cool entrances for player respawns as well (like have us come in those drop-pods with some mobs, or in a jumpship like at the start of the match). Of course, that would bring with it the issue of the enemy being able to spot them flying in and come get you as soon as the door opens... but surely it could have been done and balanced. Just "appearing" in the game seems out of place after the grand entrance we get...
I actually find myself replaying the campaign more often than the classic mode specifically for a little story and a cooler entrance. I like to get pumped up before I play, and feel like I am playing for something. Every match should implement the "campaign" style elements they have.

It's similar, but I find myself not spawning into bullets as often as CoD. But I agree with you on the cool entrance, like if there was a ship or pod coming in with grunts, you'd just take the position of one of the grunts on board. That'd be dirty, this way the enemy wouldn't be a hundred percent sure it has a pilot. Plus, you can always skid addle outta there. Campaigns fun, it's also filled with noobs so I'm sure that just adds to the fun fact.

I actually like to hang onto my titan sometimes instead of popping it immediately just because I love spawning in it. That and I feel the titan it-self is less vulnerable if you're already in it, though I think if you put it into guard mode it stops waiting for you and goes into AI mode right away, and you can switch it over to follow right away too. So if I'm not getting in it right away often I'll just doubletap the key to wake him up.
I would love if we dropped in on those drop pods with the grunts and stuff. It might be a bit more obvious, but they are usually dropped in fairly controlled areas and I think it takes most people a moment to distinguish pilots from grunts. Maybe just making it a third respawn option and let players choose, would be nice. Or maybe a quick flyby of a drop ship so it's hard to target, then players jump and get a temporary free cloak like autoeject.
Lot's of ways it could have been done, but then this is a brand new IP from technically a brand new studio. The game is a little more bare bones than I had hoped, but still great fun and there's just so much potential. I'm excited to see what they do with the franchise... if they don't cock it up. XBone exclusive prolly hurting sales quite a bit... hope it was worth it.
I'm not totally sold on the campaign. The extra story elements seem barely integrated into the match. Mostly it's just a longer intro and lots of palaver, which I find kinda distracting mid match, especially since it doesn't really seem to have much to do with the match it-self. It just feels like actors reading a script to me and I try to tune it out. It'd be real nice if there were actual mission objectives rather than just a grab bag of the regular game modes, and it would be nice if something in the match actually mattered. The fact that winning or losing makes no difference at all, much less anything else going on, just makes all that talk and stuff seem all the more disconnected. It's more like trying to play a match with the TV on in the background. There are some elements I like, but campaign is probably my biggest disappointment in the game. That and the DLC's just being more map packs...
I don't really need more maps, I'm still learning the ones we have. I'd hoped for a new, more dynamic campaign. Oh well. The game has some MOBA elements. Honestly I'd like to see a more MOBA like campaign game mode where both sides are trying to push the enemy back. Eh, but what ya gonna do?
