By Titan superiority, I mean two kinds of situations, 1) superior quantity: like enemy team has >= 3 Titans while your teams has <= 1, and 2) superior quality: the players on the enemy team are simply much better in Titan fights than your teammates. The end result is that the enemy team have several Titans roaming the battlefield, crashing anything on sight. When facing situations like these in Attrition games, I don't have a good game plan, none of the following are effective: 1) Get into my own Titan: got out numbered and at the very best can only trade my own doom with one on the other side; 2) Rodeoing: usually got killed by another Titan nearby; 3) Use anti-Titan weapons: well, that's never a good option unless the target is busying engaging in Titan fight, which is not happening in these situations; Seems to me that the only smart thing to do is to engage in guerrilla warfare, stay away from cluster of Titans, run around cautiously until I can find a lone wolf Titan? Or maybe even stop moving and wait for a Titan to come to me, by patrolling around cluster of friendly minions that can attract attention? What do you do in this scenario? If you have success stories in which you turn the tide through some smart and heroic efforts, I would like to hear about them

Yeah that is one of the game's flaws in it's current form. Once you start getting roflstomped it's pretty difficult to get out of it. The only way I see out is if you can coordinate your titan drops as a team, but if you're solo in a pub match pretty much forget it.
I usually just switch to a loadout that still needs some minion kills and go farming.

I guess that It is not a hopeless situation if your team can coordinate Titan drops. i.e.: wait until enough players to have their Titan ready (grey Titan icon on the left lower corner), then drop them at the same time to regain Titan superiority.
Even with solo, if you are on a decent enough team then most teammates probably know about this.

Equip a Spitfire LMG with slammer. That's what I am doing, especially I am going for Gen 7 and still working on the rodeo challenge. However, when enemies have Titan superiority, Rodeo is pretty difficult because other Titans will crash you. You have to play smart, avoid cluster of Titans, hope to take out the lone wolf ones.

Here is another effective thing you can dobin this situation: get high and snipe Titans with charge rifle. The goals are to weaken the titans and provoke pilots tonget out and go after you.

The R97 is now quite a decent rodeo weapon and quite good vs pilots too if you don't want to go LMG.
If you're getting hammered by titans that means keeping your own titans up as long as possible is your #1 priority. Consider jumping on a buddy titan to lend some extra firepower and keep enemy pilots from being able to rodeo. Whether on the shoulder or not using arc grenades on enemy titans when they're fighting friendly ones is very effective.

I've recently become an arc grenade believer. A very positive switch from satchel charges.

I am now a big fan of Sidewinder. Pilot vs. Titan 1 on 1 with arc grenade + sidewinder combo is very doable, as long as the enemy Titan is not using chaingun or triple threat. Use arc grenade to remove shield, then hit the Titan with Sidewinder while jumping around frantically (ideally try to keep yourself outside of Titan's field of view if at all possible). Keep yourself outside melee range, and try not to stay on the ground in front of the Titan. This will make it very difficult for Titan to kill you, unless he is using chaingun or triple threat. Explosive Pack is very useful because you can have 1 more arc at reserve after removing the shield. If the enemy titan has full health, you will need to reload your Sidewinder. The additional arc can be used to blind the titan and keep the shield stripped while reloading. Combine this with rodeo and it is a pretty fair fight. Even if you lost the fight, the Titan will be significantly weakened, and you will score a load of time reduction towards your next Titanfall, giving your team much better chance to regain Titan superiority. Of course, fighting Titan head on is a little bit suicidal and should be considered as the last resort. If possible, it is better to use the above technique to help a friendly Titan agains t an enemy Titan, which often results in both doom and pilot execution. Reload management is very important for both Sidewinder and Rodeoing. You should reload when there are still a few bullets left in the mag, which is significantly faster than reloading from an empty mag. Quick reload kit is very useful as well, which will speed up both rodeo and Sidewinder. Last but not the least: DO NOT use Sidewinder to rodeo, its explosive damage will keep you. I learnt this the hard way As a reference, below is my pilot loadout named for this purpose (named "David", as in David vs. Goliath): R97 w/EM or Spitfire w/Slammer RE45 Sidewinder Arc Grenade Cloak Explosive Pack or Quick Reload Kit Warpfall Transmitter (so you can drop a Titan on enemy Titan when rodeoing)

Witty, Yes the sidewinder can kill you but you can get a few shots off rodeoing before it does. Before the r97 buff... I like to start the rodeo with it, swap to primary empty it, swap to auto pistol, empty it, reload empty it again... Usually enough to doom an Atlas. But now with the buff I just keep reloading the r97. But a few shots with the sidewinder helps the rodeo damage especially if your primary is semi auto.

I like the charge rifle and triple satchel approach, when there are multiple titans on the other team. I find a nice spot that is usually up high if available. I throw out my satchels in the most likely avenue of approach and bait them in with the charge rifle. usually I can drop their shields by the time they get near the satchels and then boom!.... rodeos just seem to get you killed when there is a whole team of titans. I feel the satchel trap is the best bang for your buck especially if they rush you en mass. hope this helps.

It might be worth hopping on briefly and jumping away to see if you can get them to jump out or waste their smoke, and maybe drop a few grenades/satchels on them before you jump as well, but the getting in position animation is so long you could be vulnerable for a longer than your comfortable with. Still, it's worth fucking with them and if you go in cloaked other titans may not notice you riding their buddy until you're gone. Just be wary of them seeing your jets when you egress and picking you off mid air or getting a free punch.
