Imma grind for a classy tactician and then hopefully not spend another 15 million getting a roll from 1323 to 1399 on one piece.
Seriously: RNGebus seriously wanted my Classy Nomad gear set to be all electronics; I turned down 8 1401 electronic rolls last night
EDIT: actually... f$$k it; I'm going to just play, stand still with my big fat ol' 204 bullet clip LMG and do what I do best... sit back, relax in my green aura of safety, stand behind a box or crate, throw some seeker balls, and put 150 bullets standing still in some Rikers face.
And f$$k whatever classy gear I get, I get!

Yeah, in the end, just play. I had given up on getting the 6th piece of Reclaimer, then bam, it drops from a resistance crate. Got my first House from a field prof crate.
It's sad I have most all of that info on go-bag cached in the 'ol noodle here. Yet, I still find new wrinkles and angles to set-ups all the time.

Do we know if those 400 kills have to be your own or can you team shot? Because last time, I killed Laurae Barrett a $hitton of times.... yet I only got 12? kills registered EDIT: that's actually one of my biggest pet peeves in the game... burn down a enemy to nil health, then have a teammate step infront of you, you hit the back of their head while they get your kill. Bullet penetration and team poaching really sucks in this game |

I wanted to test how good the modifier was with my then hexotic build. Now that I have a full classified Hunter's Faith set I might pay Sgt Jack a visit. He's the riot shield machine gunner north east of the map and he's annoying. |

This is the best GE for farming, because Times Square on Legendary and Dragons' Nest on Heroic are very doable, even with randos.
The 400 kills is pretty easy, like Wings said. But yeah, sitting turtled up, plinking away with garbo guns makes it harder.
You're gonna do those with me, Polo, just bring Reclaimer and a pulse turret.

You need teammates for Haze, and the group will be having to share the kills.
Alternatively, play as you normally would and get them in a couple of days.

The general gist that I got from this is that you 2 man it, one just sits there and eats a sammich while the other does what needs to be done... and then vice versa and half an hour later, both have their masks

Well.... RNGebus was harsh but fair: got 3 of each of the 4 sets last night.
Got a Big Al, but it was a 258 and had a poor roll, so I just sold it... mainly because my Stash is full now, so I have to go through it and sell any dupes that I have and delete the non-classy versions.
Got 200 of the 400 kills I need for the mask, but then I realized that I thought I could do them at once but then after it all, I remembered that I had to do it TSPR instead of Lexington. Eff me. Whatever.
Warning: if you're on a low sodium diet, you need to avoid the next section:
Last night.... just so so tired of having my kills poached; I'm really considering changing my LMG because I'm so Foxtroting tired of getting an enemy down to next to no health, then having someone just run in and poach the shot. Or again, my new fave: having those D3shieldFoxtroters just walk infront of you and you put the bullets into the back of their head and shield. So annoying. Honestly, they should make friendly fire hurt a teammate... wanna run in and poach barret when she's down to next to nothing health? You can and your team will kill you. For every kill I got on someone I think I had at least 10 of those incidences... Polo sits back and puts lead into their face, takes down their shield, then gets them down to their last 1/3 of health, then Foxtroty McPugCuntTwatteson runs in with their House or Showstopper and gets my kill, when that Riker would have f$$king slaughtered them but the Riker was missing 75% of its health thanks to me. I felt like an offensive line in football: making tons of holes for my RB to run through... and the RB hogs all the glory.
Then Foxtroty McPugCuntTwatteson doesn't even let me restock without waiting to push the elevator button behind. But don't get too mad about that; I went on voice after that and trashed him for the remaining 4 pug runs. Best of all: I was the only one running lunch box so I even deliberately blew up my lunch box on him so that he would die and not get ressed.
Foxtrot you Foxtroty McPugCuntTwatteson. Foxtrot. You. Because if your line isn't making holes for you, you don't get to get 15/20/35 yard rushes. You eat a wall of Riker telling you to go fuck yourself.
They need to do something about that... it's complete BS that I put in all that work, then have to reload while some dickFoxtrot gets to put 20 bullets from his House and steal my kill. Complete horseshit. There should be some recognition that if I've done that, I should get some sort of credit too. I'm not talking 2 bullets into someone's head... but the game should recognize that if I've done X percent of damage to a foe, I should get credit for the kill too. IIRC, this was in GR:W... but I already get XP for others kills... so this shouldn't be that hard: if I can stand in the elevator safe area at level 8, let Brad and others powerlevel me to level 11 on that 1 area alone.... and I haven't even fired a bullet, I should be able to get credit for work that I did actually do.
But hey, maybe I'm expecting too much from a game that you can't even shoot through drywall at a foe...

LMG is the worst thing you can use to get the kills, use something with good accuracy and damage. Also, get some skill kills via turret, sticky or seekers. Use your reclaimer without a box, offensive skills only.

I might dig through my stash and see if I have another one in there... I had a carbon copy of it but I can't remember if I broke it down for space... 2 LMGs will definitely help the situation |

Your LMG is what it is, a suppressive fire weapon that allows teammates to get kills.
Working as intended.
Big mag, crap rof, crap accuracy, muzzle flash and bloom, literally anything would be better if its kills you're after.
Your particular gun is in the M249 family, and is actually the worst in class for accuracy.
The LSW types or MG5 would be better,so would Pakhan or Big Gay Al.

I'm standing across the rooftop (the ledge as you exit the elevator on the right) and reliably taking down the snipers across (where we huddle up after the "that's an order Sargent") after we free ramos. It's actually the spot where I do get non-poached kills.
Upon further, salt free, reflection... it's mainly the Riker heavies that I have this problem with. I probably notice it more because I put all that work into putting them because they are so hard to put down.
It is what it is. But regardless of what gun I use, if Foxtroty McPugCuntTwatteson D3shieldFoxtroter, is standing in front of me... no gun I use is going to get me the kill.

Got the 400 kill mask last night no problem... no shielders to bother me and I switched to the house and I was able to get a lot more kills that way.
2 and 3 manned a lot of runs too

I also stopped giving a Foxtrot and just killed stuff. Also helps thst the Nomad set has bonus ar damage too RNG’s completely bonkers: 6 packages, 2 classy gears, all dupes and a exotic POS gun or gear. |

I did have nice Tac gloves drop, already at 1401 elec and max lmg dmg. This got me to athinkin', maybe lmg to build stacks?
With two slots already maxed, I quickly rolled max skill haste and shotgun dmg.
I had great skill build rollled MG5, and BM sausage, both with free ferocious, which would proc with my ridiculous pulse turret.
The result is insane stack building power, I am constantly at 30, and often at 60 stacks.
The 840 rpm 110 round per mag MG5 lights it up, and if fools get close, I don't miss wit da meat, er, sausage.
What's great is I still find new ways to play, even when I have most everything worth having.

RNG is completely batshit crazy this time around.... 10 packages opened, 2 classys, 5 exotics.
Spent 30mill to roll a 10-2.8-2.8 deadeye build... only to remember just how godawful am I at sniping.
I'll give it a go for 4 more packages to get the lonestar chest... then I'mma save up for tomorrow and try to get my striker and sentry
