What's the advantage of that over 1 Titan and 1 Hunter, and play Raid weekly using each? If I understand correctly, the core of this setup is still a bias of Titan over Hunter? In other words Dumien prefers to use Titan instead of Hunter for Raid at the present stage. |

His Hunter was presumably not level 28. This way he can borrow the gear from his main that is a level 28 titan and have two 28 titans instead of a 28 titan and a 20 something hunter. And he'll still get legendaries for his hunter bit by bit anyway to bring the hunter back later.
Essentially he is just maximizing his yield by doubling down on the highest level content he has access to.

That makes sense since level beyond 20 is tied to armor set, and armor set is class specific. If the goal is to maximize weekly yield on earning rewards / looting, this is the best setup. "Some people" (air quote + cough...) have too much free time available to play this game  |

Mannon hit the nail on the head. My high level hunter is being incubated in the vault. As of now it has two legendaries and an exotic...just needs one more legendary and a Hunter character to be recreated.  The main reason I am doing this though...raid gear drops for your specific character. If you are playing a titan you will get titan gear. Playing hunter? Get hunter gear. The only way a character can get to 30 is with a complete set of raid gear + an exotic. I play two titans and I get a higher chance per week to get a character to 30. Once I get a character to 30 I can worry about the other classes. P.S. it takes 0 seconds of my personal time to sit in a corner for 8 hours and do other work. |
