Hey bros, this being my first post, I want to give a shout out to everyone. So I have been grinding this game out more so than any game that I have ever played in the past. I have 10 + days played and have been focusing on leveling up my Warlock who has been stuck at level 29 for a long time. I used advice I picked up on Reddit and made 2 more Warlocks so I can switch gear to different characters and get more rewards from weekly nightfall strikes and raids. I have completed the raid on normal 12 times with Den bros and other players I met who play the game an unhealthy amount such as myself. I have been trying to beat the raid on hard, but it's not easy to find people who have time to put in the hours to beat the raid on hard. The raid on normal has just gotten so easy, that we are starting to run through it in 45-50 minutes everytime, beating gatekeepers and Atheon in one go each, even taking Atheon down in two portal runs (with the power of the Ice Breaker of course) Atheon was put down by non portal team players while we were in the portal the third time the other day, which was an exciting achievement, but it felt too easy. Ok back to what I was getting at, Raid Gear. It is so randomized getting raid gear drops, that of all of my run throughs, I have only gotten the chest piece. I have enough shards to max out to level 30, but I'm waiting on two more drops of pieces of gear. It feels like I'm stuck at this point. No matter how much I play the game and try, I can't make any more progress, which isn't normal to me, because I usually can just play a game more than anyone I know and complete leveling that way. This is unfamiliar territory to me being a COD player at heart. GodMars helps me a great deal understanding this MMO universe that I am very unfamiliar with, but I wish the game gave you back what you put in because I am not used to the randomness. Overall though, this is the most fun I've had gaming in a long time. Before destiny dropped, I would go months without picking up my PS4 controller, and now I have to play hours everyday. I didn't really know what to say in my first post, but I wanted to share my situation of feeling stuck and at the mercy of random raid drops in the game right now.
