The stalling technique using ground-pound could definitely get you out of some sticky situations.

I gave the Banshee a shot in Warzone yesterday only the find out the controls were drastically different than H3's. I didn't realize you had to toggle back and forth between plasma guns/fuel rod cannon with Y. Previously both of those were bound to different buttons.

Here's a video of a guy pulling off an Invincible streak (25+ kills) in an Ultra Banshee...very impressive stuff.

Even if you aren't able to rack up kills, simply staying alive and being a distraction while in a Banshee can be a huge asset to your team. Whenever there's a friendly Banshee in the air it's not rare for me to roll on enemies with my BR because they're too busy looking up/trying to put shots in it.

Hey. can we talk quick about that banshee ultra video? I haven't piloted one yet, but he's just using the Fuel Rod Cannon mainly yes?

What buttons is he continuously pressing to make those maneuvers? Is the white bar above the blue one his ability to boost and do maneuvers?

So with the banshee, you're basically a dive-bomber with the fuel rod cannon and just spamming that in high heat areas?

He's basically doing the loop maneuver everytime he fires the fuel rod it looks like.

He was using the fuel rod cannon 100% of the time. Using the loop maneuver after firing gives your fuel rod cannon time to reload so you can get a second shot off at a target without passing over top of it. I believe its bumper + LS direction to flip.

Tier 1 - These are common weapons such as the BR/DMR/AR/SMG etc. They use the H2 basic/H3 method and are on a 20 second timer that starts after pickup. The short timer ensures that it should never be difficult to find these weapons.

Tier 2 - With more powerful weapons such as the shotgun (and from what I've seen from streams the hydra as well) don't respawn until the weapon is dropped with no ammo or de spawns. This makes it so there aren't more than one of them active at any given time (multiple people running around with shotties on empire would be pretty bad) but are still almost always in play since once dropped or despawned they come back up a second later.

Tier 3 - True power weapons like rockets and the sniper are on static timers and will always come up at set times like how things were in CE. This encourages map movement because both teams know when they're coming up and the incentive to secure those weapons forces both teams to go for them.

Powerups - Things like overshield and invis start their timers after pickup and seem to come back up every minute so it will be extremely important for teams to call out the time they get picked up to time the next one.

He is wrong on Powerups: it is a two-minute timer.

I really hope this site develops some sort of analysis to the loadouts of Warzone. I can't seem to pick which attachments are better than others. Silencer vs knockba rounds, etc. Medic vs advanced sensors and so on

Regarding Armor Mods:

sounds like Advanced Sensors + Silenced Weapons = ninja god combo:

1) radar detection range = 40m
2) you dont show up on enemy radars as long as you are not sprinting (without Advanced Sensors you will have to crouch all the time for that effect)
3) you dont show up on enemy radars while firing
4) radar still up when smart link

I guess that the choices are situational, depending on your primary objective at the moment, as well as your preferred play style.

Advanced Sensors: great choice if you prefer to be sneaky. Ghost shadow your teammates and steal kills. Silenced weapons are great companions;
Auto Medic / Upgraded Shield / Reflex Enhancers / Increased Strength / Upgraded Thrusters: great if you like to run and gun aggressively and more often than not can win 1-on-1s;
Frag / Plasma / Splint Expert: well, more grenades are always welcome;
Speed Booster: this one looks most useful! If it is as good as it sounds, I probably will use it all the time once I acquire it;

Hey I don't know if this is better in this thread or the REQ thread but the ONI SCOUT WARTHOG costs only one REQ and has lots of armor. If you drive that thing around the garage, you can prevent spawn trapping. It’ll be tough for tangos to kill you. I think this is my new strategy to fight the spawn trap

Speed booster is supposed to make you move faster and jump higher. That's something that can be useful during both transitioning and gun fighting. The rest are situational, while this one can be useful all the time.

Well, in Halo you shoot from hip all the time (probably less so in Warzone than in Arena, but still), which if I understand correctly is the same as your non-sprint movement speed. I am pretty sure that this mod will boost that.

The effect on ADS (aka smart link) movement speed is question mark. But when you are seriously dueling with another opponent, most likely you won't be ADS anyway, especially getting hit = de-scope.

I was trying to replicate some of moves from this "Jarrod Dunfee" guy last night, and one thing that frustrates me is I can never get as high as he is able to with what he refers to as "Stabilizer Jump". An example:

For bros here who can make this jump, what button sequence are you using?

His description is this: "Jump, Stabilize, and Crouch repeatedly. If done correctly..."

This confuses me. Jump and Stabilize are obvious, but "crouch repeatedly"? That does not make sense to me. What is he actually trying to say? "clamber repeatedly"? "crouch repeatedly while clamber"?
