Has anyone found an effective way to use glitch to get kills? I'm trying to finish off the Prophet's camo challenges. The time you can get the required "surprise attack" medal after glitching is really really short and the randomness of not only where you end up but what direction you are facing makes it a super aggravating "special ability."
They should have made the camo challenges unlock for evading death by glitching or something, since that seems to be it's only use (and it sort of sucks at that even.)

Run double grenades on Nuketown or equivalent small map on Hardpoint or Domination. Get Glitch ready, throw both grenades at contested point, glitch back before they go off. Run Overclock too so you get as many glitches as you can in a game.

Having dabbled at Firebreak with a sadistic smirk, Heat Wave has really grown on me; it's like an in-built EMP/Concussion grenade for free, and it's criminally easy to grind headshots on unsuspecting blokes. Makes it all the merrier to run Overclock, to which I once thought to be a niche perk yet now a favourite. I wonder what the Specialist boost multiplier is? Barring score per kill, I know the recharge rate is quickened.
Edit: You know what? Going to spend a token on this bad boy -- with how often you get Heat Wave it's so damn good to capitalize on.

Ripper is good for pseudo Hardline as you have it up whenever you need it even without Overclock and specialist weapons kills give bonus points towards Killstreaks(I'm 99% sure). It's essentially a discount Combat Focus that gives you commando. Once you pop Heat Wave the meter immediately restarts and usually after you Heat Wave you'll have free kills(Via stunned babby buffalo) to immediately recharge it. Really nice in high point per kill modes like KC. Heat Wave 3 guys, kill em, claim their tags and Heat Wave is already pretty much back up.

I feel like IW figured out how to migrate hosts consistently in MW3, but Treyarch for whatever reason has not figured out whatever IW figured out, and migrating hosts remains a death sentence for your game. (If the game even decides to migrate, it seems rounds with a crappy host go on way longer than they should).

Is it just me or does getting DMGed block your power slide?

I'm not bothering with those as most Hero outfits suck. I still use default costumes and hats.

The double kills only took 3 FFAs for me, I got at least two while doing the overall Glitch kills as well before the stupid challenge unlocked, it really wasn't too bad. Just had to Glitch on Combine and get a little lucky. Any other Specialist challenges that are considered a major pain?
I do love Firebreak btw, I might use a token on him next time through. Dat Purifier.

So far glitch is the worst I think. Other "abilities" you can just sort of turn on and then do what you normally do, i.e. kill people. Glitch moves you away from your potential victims necessitating this "throw explosive and teleport" dice roll stuff which is super annoying.

The worst to get double kills, right? Not the worst overall specialist to use? Because i find it very useful in s&d where i might be caught in a bad situation, and glitching out almost always means teleporting back towards my teammates.

That fucking dice roll. I'm glad overpicked CQC maps like Combine are a thing in this game; makes Specialist doubles a breeze or at least bearable.

It's useful for what you described. Also useful if you fall off the map, you can glitch back. Or unsticky a grenade. Or glitch out of a concussion tactical... etc. Not sure what the worst ability is yet.

I didn't use explosives at all. Here was my second glitch double kill: xboxclips.com/Pegasus+Actual/125393ea-341b-46cc-8dba-624f097807dbAt first I start turning to shoot the adorable FFA sniper but quickly realize I can keep going for a moment and easily glitch behind him for an instant glitch kill (leaving me with a few ticks to get a second). The timing was very deliberate, enough so that I wouldn't glitch way behind and have a tough shot or need to round a corner, but short enough to where he would not have time to get away no matter what he tried to do. From there my plan was to quickly elevate over the wall and see if I could get a second kill in time somewhere in the middle, but as it happened another guy had hopped up to see what the ruckus was all about yielding a pretty easy double.

Okay I actually remembered to use C4 before prestiging this time. Holey moley is it OP with a headset. Like every time I throw one it's a free kill(or more). The only way to counter a C4 sandwhich from a guy with a headset is to be a Reaper w/ DS+Hardwired. Even if they have the Astronaut perk you still tenderize em to be mowed down with ease.
I know what I'm using a token on.
Edito: Also what determines run speed in this game? Gun in your hands a la BLOPs1/2?

Very small time window to destroy the C4. I use them aggressively/reactionary so they don't ever stay out long. However I did forget about trophies as a hard counter.

... Dayumn son, whilst I grind AR headshots, the Man-O-War is straight up dirty with High Caliber -- two shot kills all day every day!
Regarding C4, I definitely understated the thing; the alarm feature is so generous it'll practically watch your asshole the whole time.

Currently doing knife Bloodthirsties -- I can't slit these wrists any harder.
Edit: Combine and Kinetic Armor did it. Fuck 3arc for mandating 5 medals.

Depends -- I go center mass from a distance or the head up close. The results can be rather surprising with the latter.

Trying to decide which is better on AR's if you just choose one: high caliber or long barrel. Need that quickdraw or stock and hate wasting a point on primary gunfighter.

So what's the best kimbo pistol? El Car or Raffies? Trying to decide which is better on AR's if you just choose one: high caliber or long barrel. Need that quickdraw or stock and hate wasting a point on primary gunfighter. Well Hi Cal helps at all ranges unlike long barrel so there's that.

On a side not, just realized Ante-Up is only good for 75 points. WTF

Yep; so it doesn't help you when you're cycling streaks. So it's bad if you're trying to cycle low streaks and when you're going for high streaks. It's only if you have problems getting one UAV in one life. Worst perk in game.
Edito: So if you want Hardline Wombat Focus and Ripper are your best bets.

for kills and assists x2. For caps and tags, x1.5. Has a cap of 200 bonus points.
