Just thought I'd make a thread for people to post the Hero outfits so others can check them out and see if they're worth grinding for. I've got Firebreak unlocked so far and will post whatever non-duplicates there are in Specialist order (so Ruin next).
Also a few tips: the only difficult challenges are Prophet/Glitch (get a double kill ~3 seconds after glitching) and both of Nomad's (double kill with HIVE, double kill ~3 seconds after Rejacking). To start you should definitely be running Overclock. It might get you an extra use or 3 of your specialist ability in one game. For the Glitch challenge I played Nuketown in Chaos Moshpit, either Hardpoint or Domination preferrably but any map in those game modes should work similarly. What you want is some sort of explosive, frag/semtex/C4. I used Semtex + Danger Close. Get your Glitch charged, toss out your explosives on an active point, Glitch, then hope you get at least one kill (can clean up with your gun afterword). It's much, much simpler this way than trying to get gun kills since it can be difficult to determine where exactly you'll glitch to. With explosives, you remove that variable from the equation.
For the Nomad/Rejack challenge, I played the same modes as for Glitch. I'm not sure if there is an indirect way to get this like with explosives, so I just went for gun kills. It wasn't too difficult, especially if you find people who don't understand what the green mist is and ignore you. You'll probably want to use a Vesper/VMP and get in close to give you the spraying power needed for the doubles. Nomad/HIVE felt a bit trickier than it actually is. Again, domination/hardpoint will be the easiest modes to get this challenge. You have options for this one, but I basically used all 5 HIVE shots in one spot. It works really well if you can drop the whole mag on A or C (whichever home flag you hold) then flip the spawn so the enemy takes their gimme flag (the point you currently hold). The idea is to put a large concentration of HIVEs in an area of guaranteed group traffic, so the front door of the mantion on Stronghold for example (where A is). You can almost guarantee that if multiple enemies spawn there, one or more of them are going to run through that door which makes it a perfect spot for HIVE clusters.

Was going to go in order but Ruin is both bugged and pretty hard to get so I'll just post as I get them. Reaper Scythe: 6 kills in a game with the Scythe, 6 times. Psychosis: 4 kills in a game during Psychosis, 4 times. Specter Ripper: 6 kills in a game with the Ripper, 6 times. Active Camo: 4 kills in a game shortly after breaking Active Camo, 4 times.

Do you need to prestige to be able to unlock the hero challenges?

Do you need to prestige to be able to unlock the hero challenges? Not that I know of. To unlock the hero challenges you have to unlock every challenge-based head/body outfit for every Specialist (meaning that the Black Market outfits are not required). Once you do that, the Classified outfit slots unlock and allow you to complete the challenge to acquire the Hero piece.

I thinked the Rejacked double kill challenge is glitched. Or you have to get it within 1 second or Rejacking or something (throw a grenade, die, then hope it goes off and gets you a double kill?)
Probably about 20 times now I have gotten double kills within 5-10 seconds or Rejacking, and no progress on the stupid challenge.

The advice I've heard is to plant double C4 on an objective. When the thing beeps, glitch, then detonate. I've heard of people finishing it in a game or two. Can't remember which game mode is best. HP or Dom, I'm assuming. Put it on your home flag in Dom and go force the spawn flip perhaps? It'd be easier with a team.

Rejacked, not Glitch. Surprisingly, I found Glitch much easier to do than this, as I was in control of when it happened.

Rejack was an absolute pain for me, but I did it by playing against FFA scrubs. The problem I had was playing in such an "on again, off again" playstyle. You have to beast in order to get your rejack and have enough time by maintaining first place, but then you literally have to let people kill you or else you will go on a merciless or something. I have done hero on everything except the Sparrow and Grav Spikes currently. I am 1/6 on Sparrow, so I know it can be done, likely against FFA scrubs, but I am at a complete loss for the Grav Spikes. If you run overclocked on FFA, you will get 4 uses of grav spikes before the game ends. You usually cannot let them build up naturally for a fifth use because someone will win the game by then. This means you have to get 2 single kills and 2 double kills with spikes. In FFA that seems borderline impossible, especially if you would have to do it five more times. Enemies will not ever bunch up because they have no teammates of their own. I tried doing this on Safegaurd as well, but I have not had success. Get this: I was playing Hunted and I flanked the Boardwalk at the ending portal where everyone usually crowds on defense. I got a MEGA KILL with the grav spikes, which is 7 kills rapidly, and I did not get any progress towards the challenge. WTF.

Hardpoint or Domination usually gets you some multi kills with the spikes. Spike a flag being capped/hardpoint being contested a few times.
Problem is domination is bugged so you have to do it in each half, or did they fix that?

I just completed the Rejack double kill challenge after about 3-4 hours of trying. The way I did it was to challenge people from behind cover (head glitching) or just around corners. If you can die so that they can't see you Rejacking then you can pop back up / pop around the corner and take them by surprise. A good example would be the sniper's nests in Infected; it's quite hard to see someone Rejacking from the other nest. To further increase your odds of getting a double kill I was tactical loitering the same cover for quite some time. Once you get a few kills people will come running back for revenge and you're much more likely to grab a double kill when popping out of cover. I thinked the Rejacked double kill challenge is glitched. Or you have to get it within 1 second or Rejacking or something (throw a grenade, die, then hope it goes off and gets you a double kill?) Probably about 20 times now I have gotten double kills within 5-10 seconds or Rejacking, and no progress on the stupid challenge. I would guess that the timers for the challenge and any double kills are separate. It feels like the Rejack challenge timer is around 3 secs from Rejacking, whilst a double kill medal is just timed from the last kill. So unless you get both kills within this 3 seconds you won't complete the challenge. As an example, I Rejacked in the sniper's nest in infected, hit a guy with my first burst from the P-06 Sniper, missed my second burst and hit someone with the third burst. So, after raising my weapon and lining up my first shot I probably got my first kill at 2.5 secs after rejacking, missed the burst at 3 secs, and hit the burst at 3.5 seconds. I ended up getting a double kill medal but my last burst was more than 3 secs from Rejacking, so I didn't get the challenge. My only other advice would be to avoid Rejacking if you know you'll get insta-killed. You'll respawn with half energy for Rejack if you just let yourself die. Rejacking into a death trap and getting killed will leave you with no energy. There's still a huge amount of luck involved though; I finished the Rejack challenge by getting a double kill with the KRM shotty whilst grinding the 5 attachment challenge in Core Team Deathmatch. I wasn't even running Overclock and they were probably the only two times I got one hit kills that entire match !

All I have left is nomad and spectre. The nomad is literally terrible. Only success I've had with hive is using it like a war machine when I see a large group on the uav. Shoot all the hives rapidly and then run and try to stay alive. Rejack is going to really infuriate me I'm sure. Whoever made the call to put nomad in the game should be fired.

Nomad has a cool hat though, what with its upturned outback-ish flair and what not.
