I have a little to go on the man o war and then ill have diamond ar's. According to my in game stats the XR-2 is head and shoulders above the rest. Highest k/d, highest kill/headshot ratio (not that it matters much), highest accuracy, highest killstreak (28). It was my 2nd fastest gun to gold, sheiva being fastest.

On the strength of these fine words I tried the weevil. I wish I hadn't. I'll try again - I was suffering horrendous ping issues last night - not sure why. I think it's too weak - I was losing every one on one. Loved the accuracy and mag though but, even when shooting first I was still losing way, way too often. With ping issues it doesn't much matter what you use.

I'm starting to burn out on golding these guns, and I'm now into the weapons that significantly alter how I play. My uncertain chase for Dark Matter might be over. At the very least, it will be significantly slower from here on out.

A queuing system, or making the M8 a full-auto burst weapon like the XR-2 and Pharo, would remove such problems. You know how fast my trigger finger is and i never jam the m8. Also, the M8 is definitely queue-able. Years of using jammable semis have given me fantastic trigger control.

The M8A7 is the clear choice of the SND sweats, it's probably the best gun in the game. You dont know the godmode that is acog grip gorgon with akimbo lcar secondaries in s&d. Never jammed the m8 or shieva in combat, only when i explicitly tried to jam it. Definitely not hard at all to avoid jamming it.

Sheiva is probably my favorite AR simply because it is reliable at all ranges. Never had it jam on me and my trigger finger is quite good still. I assume the M8 will quickly be my favorite when I use it more...picking it up off the ground always seems to have devastating results. I also maxed out the drakon because I wanted to compare it to the sheiva. I was quite pleased with silencer+elo but the sway did get to me and you NEED to have attachments to get the most out of it. I run classes with very little attachments. Edit: Around Christmas time I'll come back to this thread at do a full review like you did with stats n' everything. I'm looking forward to it. Imma be honest with you here. And only even read this is the Sheiva truly has a 250RPM cap. Your trigger finger sucks. Bad. Most people are capable of ~350. Many people can do ~450. Some people can do ~550. A small chunk can do over than, consistently. If you aren't jamming the Sheiva, well... I dont know what to say. Bo2 has a new "queue" mechanic explained briefly here: Gun A can fire once every 0.5 seconda. You pull trigger once, release, then press & hold. Once held, the gun will automatically fire another shot after 0.5s. Repeat to mechanically ensure max fire rate cap. Now, if you fire - release - hold TOO quickly, the held shot won't queue. That's the jam dumien is referring to.

I'm about 2/3s of the way through diamond shotguns. Hardcore has been a life saver. It's actually been enjoyable.

How can anyone like the Man-O-War? It sucks at close range, sucks at long range, and it only OK at mid range and short range.

It hits like a truck but kicks like a mule, fires slowly, and ADS's very slowly for an AR.

It hits like a truck but kicks like a mule, fires slowly, and ADS's very slowly for an AR. The kick in minor, and rarely comes into play given your average engagement distance. And sure, it has a slower rate of fire, but it's fairly well balanced and has a competitive time to kill that's better than several of the ARs at varying ranges. As far as the ADS speed goes, I mean, really? A pistol is going to out-draw every other weapon, but I highly doubt you use one as your primary weapon.

I'm curious, how many hours of playtime did this take? # of MP games? I have 3.5 days in and I'm almost diamonding shotguns, but I am nowhere close on any of the other guns. When the challenge is headshots vs. one shot kills it just is a slog for me.

Right now? I've 4 days and 7 hours in. That isn't too long from when I got the camo. Meanwhile, I couldn't tell you how many games were played, but most of it was done in FFA, with some trips to Ground War and Hardcore playlists.
Firstly, I formulated habits to ease things along, like having multiple classes to address challenges with different guns on the fly -- or at least move along so I can deal with tedious stuff later (think Bloodthirties and Longshots).
Furthermore, Heat Wave and Overclock are an absolute Godsend for tackling headshots. As you go onto 6-attachment challenges, the Reaper is incredible for near-silent footsteps, and Psychosis' quick charge rate keeps you alive.
Overall, this lent really well to my perspective on guns (for one, sniping is suffering. I mean, fuck). Whilst I worked towards Diamond to a modest pace, discovering Dark Matter is what shot things up to overdrive. I like my purple.

Whichever gun I'm working towards Gold I have 3 classes of. One with my "normal" setup, then one each with no attachments and 5 attachments + optic. That way when I hit my 100 headshots I can immediately switch over in game to start my 50 kills with each, then switch back for bloodthirsty's and the like.

My entry for Shotguns is up in the original post. I'm on to Snipers and Pistols now, and man do Snipers suck in this game.

Right now? I've 4 days and 7 hours in. Dang. Crazy. I'm a day behind and I'm lucky to be past integer on anything other than shotguns and launchers. I'm not really directing my efforts at any single gun though, other than shotguns, but those are sort of easy.

Hmmmm, I've thoroughly enjoyed the snipers. Although I haven't touched the burst fire one; P-06, I think it's called?

I would love to play pc mode where no one has aim assist. Snipers and thermals would be so much fun.
