After playing KC with some of the bros in here last night, I realize that I generally suck at it.
Someone lay me out a good class setup. Is afterburner worth it in this L3 crapfest?

Afterburner is only really needed for melee/Ripper setups where you need to be able to boost on demand.
As for KC shotguns are better than they are in other gametypes as chances are if they're in shotgun range they're in tag confirm range. The big part about KC is how easy killstreaks are compared to it's brother TDM as quad/triple RAPS a game isn't out of the question. Set your streaks to high going for at least the HATR. Ripper/Heatwave will always be up with the tag point systems so they're good ideas; 225 points per shank is pretty good for KS whoring.
Standard DS/Awareness + Scav/C4(For booby trapping tags) + whatever CQC gun you want should do just fine.

Is afterburner worth it in this L3 crapfest? I give you the "camper special": Brecci exmags/rapid fire Active camo 6th sense, overclock Fast hands DS/awareness guardian, sentry gun, hatr. Find a building and camp in a corner and soundwhore. After 2 kills move to another corner. If you hear/detect multiple enemies then pop your camo and wait for some of the enemies to pass by and kill the stragglers. Or you can use active camo to move on to another building of your choice. |

Does active camp actually trick people? It makes you almost easier to see if anything as you're all shiny and shimmery.

You only shimmer during transitions in and out of active camo. It's incredibly hard to spot an active camo user when they're standing still

I have a decent set of cans to soundwhore, I just don't have the patience. Especially in kc where it seems like I should jump into the constant rush for points like everyone else. I am more of a flank to power position player. I think I just need to play more and learn kc spawns better.
I'll give it a go either way and see if that fly trap class will work. Beats me running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
