Dead silence is decent in that it also silences your boosters and slide. Without a sound whore Perk it's the closest you can get to soundwhoring since it makes everyone else easier to hear.
I am also running Ghost pretty consistently. And a lot of the AR iron sights are pretty good so you have flexibility elsewhere with points.
Scavenger was nerfed. Only ammo resupply, and only for guns, not rockets or grenade launchers.
The warden is fairly powerful in that you can't kill it with the available rockets you get in one life. Do any of the other launchers work?

It obviously has it's issues but I think what really makes me have a hard time having fun or coming back to it is whatever is happening with its servers/netcode/whatever.
I honestly feel like I am getting connected to p2p matches a lot, when in BO3 I was always on dedicated every time I checked, except literally once. There was a few in-game methods to check if you had connected to a dedicated server or P2P in BO3, none that I know of for IW.
Battle(non)sense finally put out his netcode analysis of IW.
TL;DW for it, the netcode is bad in IW, even worse in MWR, but actually not that much worse then BO3 statistically. I honestly think I am somehow connecting to P2P matches a lot and getting the high movement speed hit rejection from a bad host or something. I really can't explain how bad the connections seem for me compared to BO3.
Also worth noting, he mentioned on Twitter that it took him 25 matches to finally get into a dedicated server for IW for some reason, living in Germany. Furthering my belief I am getting connected to P2P most of the time.

IW > BO3 according to the vid. It's just that cod sucks in comparison to their competitors in netcode

Is it just me or is the Vulture killstreak weaksauce?
I'm saving my salvage for the Epic R3KT gun (full auto R3K). It is taking forever. Probably a mistake but I am hoping it is decent, because the R3K sucks ass.
So do you earn keys and salvage in zombies as well?

I actually played some FFA bot matches yesterday (because that's more enjoyable then pubs in this crap), and yeah, the Vulture is crap, even against recruits. Meager, just like the one in Ghosts, maybe a little better. They sadly did not copy-paste the Talon.
I'd wait until more videos come out on the Epic guns. Let others buy it and find out if it's good or not. I just watched a video and found out the Epic NV4 is actually average. No range drop at all (always four hits), but slower fire rate than the base. With that low recoil making shots easy, is rather go with the base myself.
I do agree that the R3K is the biggest piece of shit of a burst weapon. Worse than anything even Treyarch shat out. Can't kill in a single burst 95% of the time and there's an hour between each burst. Reminds me of the MSBS, but with no redeeming qualities.

R3K is ok.
I have the R3KT from a supply drop. It shoots at Volk speed and seems to have a decent three shot range, maybe not as long as the Volk's. But the recoil is minimal. It seems pretty strong just because of the low recoil.

Then what's the point of it over the AK? Its recoil ain't that bad.

All the shotguns still suck which is disappointing. Reaver is a poor man's Brecci I guess. But a real "fun" shotgun is a consistent OSK one that rewards good aim and I haven't found it yet. I tried the S-Ravage but it's not even close to the SPAS.

Player count is really bad. I'd be curious to see if IW sold poorly, or if this is what happens when you release 2 games in one...

Also, at least judging from my friend list people are still playing BO3. EA's double offensive of BF1 and TF2 probably have something to do with that as well, although it is a double edged sword and most likely hurt the TF2's sales numbers. I guess EA does not care that much so long they can make significant erosion into CoD's player base, They have significantly discounted TF2's price to ~$30, and on top of that offer free MP trial of the entire game + the first free DLC this coming weekend. On XONE and PC there is also Gears of War 4 (and to much lesser extent Halo 5), although it is 3rd person shooter and probably does not quite interest CoD player base. There are also games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege that have established sustainable player base to compete in the crowded FPS space as well.

Yeah I think EA is really pushing for market share right now with BF1 and TF2 rather than maximizing profits. Hopefully the plan will be to keep hitting TF2 with free DLC to not only keep people playing it, but hopefully recapture some of those missed sales down the road. It won't be easy, but if they can convince enough CoD players that TF2 is the game to play vs IW then they'll have them for about a year at least and I think anybody that plays TF2 for any significant amount of time will be likely to want TF3 when it eventually rolls around.
I also wouldn't mind at all if they had some paid for single player DLC. I don't know if they said all DLC will be free or if they said multiplayer DLC would be free. I'd really like some more of that Effect & Cause, please! heh (Like seriously I could play an entire campaign based on that premise...) Plus we never even used the grapple in single player or a lot of other things. There's a lot more that could be done there. I really wish they would open it up to the community as well. I'd love to see what the community could do with Titanfall single player! If paying for it would make me more likely to get some more single player I'd gladly pay.

I'd say it is easier to use. The Reaver is pretty fun. As someone said up there, it's the poor man's Brecci. But that's not so bad, the Brecci was absolutely a monster gun in BO3. So all in all, I'm liking the Reaver a good bit and doing very well with. Hip firing wins almost all short range encounters, and once you start toggling ADS for longer range, it's great.

Free DLC should hopefully knock the Foxtrot out of Activision. Speaking as a long time CoD fan, their DLC practices have become old and stale. And a rip off. I will never ever buy DLC packages up front from Activision again. I did that with BO3 and got killed. Especially so with how PSX is the preferred vender, making XB users wait an extra month (on top of the normal wait) What's the point of buying four sets of maps, if the last two sets don't come out until the end of the game. Rip off.

1.5GB patch on Xbox and we still have totally lopsided matchmaking, lots of crashes to the main menu, frame rate issues, no combat record, 0.00 records for the 5th game in the post game summary, no demolition, no capture the flag, game modes that don't exist but have challenges, and other random stuff. Oh and as I was typing this the entire lobby inexplicably disappeared after the match started leaving me alone in the match. Sad!

I'm not having any issues beyond missing features on PS4. But the game is a bit of a grind right now with all the headshots you need to get. Stuck in HC forever.

IW's challenges were always harder than Treyarch's, if I remember correctly. 200 headshots with each sniper rifle for instance... yeah I don't see that happening. DM was more attainable in BO3. At least the dictator challenge isn't in this game (100% accuracy with a full LMG clip). That was just a cruel joke, really.

Honestly if I compare challenges in IW to those in BO3, other than the camo challenge, which you can always be working on, the rest are easier. You had to get 300 kills with every lethal grenade in BO3.
The real difficult challenges are in MWR. Jump to your death x times? That game is already hard enough without challenges like that.

Yeah when I completed the B03 lethal master challenge I felt both (a) satisfaction and (b) shame. It was an interesting feeling.

At a loss of where to start off..
First up is the party system.. UNREAL amount of crashes. Wish I kept proper notation to document how many times we end up slamming our heads off the xbox each session. Host failing, random party members being dropped, people's mic's stopping. Spent over 10 minutes last night resetting, and there was still a member who was unable to join the party. This doesn't even touch the fact, time after time (thanks for showing faces cyndi) we are thrown into games where we face off against 1 or 2 opponents instead of an entire team. Match is a downright joke, considering no one ever backs out
Almost all of the weapons feel BLAAAAAAH, honestly there is a select few (KBAR, TYPE 2) in which I enjoy. 1st COD in history in which I tossed on a silencer, only way I consistently earn kills and stay alive.
NV4 is in desperate need of being slammed by the nerf hammer. gun straight melts. more often then not it sounds like I am being shot by a bloody sniper. POOF hit x to respawn. boggles my mind that one of the slowest shooting weapons is able to outgun smgs/shotguns/faster shooting ARs up close
BO3 Specialists > IW Specialists and this a serious beatdown. Picture any professional team going up against one from a d1 college. Using Warfighter to score the Combat Focus and all of his bloody traits is downright useless. In all of the games Ive played PING has yet to reveal a single enemy. Persistence is laughable. Kills me inside that they murdered one of my favorite streaks from AW

Even running solo, the lobby crashes are really annoying. Either I get kicked trying to join a new game from scratch, or half the lobby inexplicably disappears when the match starts, or the game stupidly puts a fresh lobby in a 6 v 2 match up, or something.
