It's okay, at least you have someone that can kick a fieldgoal, right?

They sure played the role of the 2015 Falcons extremely well.
How about those injuries though. Carr and Mariota was huge. Seattle lost Tyler Lockett on the same thing, fibula. Really sucks. Rawls came out on a shoulder injury. We'll see how serious that is, but that's his third different injury in a year.

Wow that sucks for the Raiders. I was a little nervous about what the sports gods would do to us in a snowbowl rematch but not anymore.

I was happy the Niners won. Then I was mad they won, becaue the Shitstains... err, Browns won. I think the Niners would get the #1 if tied with the Browns. So, feeling conflicted, I went to the tie breaker: the Seahawks lost (sorry PSIII) Happiness wins 2-1... it was a good NFL week (PS: Will ... have you dug yourself out yet?)

Hilarious that SF beat LA twice. The number one draft QB is sad right now. Now they'll go to Cleveland.
They have no chance at beating Seattle. Hyde will be out, and he's a good RB.
Seattle's loss sucks. I'll have to be a New Orleans fan next week.

Illram and Markopolo, if your New Years resolution was your football team to not suck at life, then that one has just been fulfilled. They're getting rid of Baalke and Kelly's probably out the door after.

Oh and get a coach who is of NFL quality

It's an enviable position for rebuilding, really. Tons of money, new stadium, great draft picks, storied franchise with eager fans. Lil' Jed just has to find someone not terrible at football decisions and he is going to look for a "name" since he will not be allowed to screw this up in the court of public opinion. Mike Shanahan?
Kap's gone next year, I would assume. He's the last big domino to fall.

It'll take two years at least. No telling what they'll do with the new QB. Hopefully he'll accommodate Hyde. They're also waiting for Bowman to get back. So many pieces all around to fix and replace for them to deal with with one draft period.
Feels REALLY nice to beat them by two points. When Hyde was out. Good job Seattle, great way to head into playoffs...
Fisher, Ryan, Kelly, Bradley, McCoy axed. Good for the franchises. Kubiak will bounce. Lots of job openings. For next year, I'm throwing in Bowles if Jets don't get a 8-8 or better, Lewis will be done on contract because of no playoff wins, Jackson if the Browns can't turn things around, and Pagano with his dinosaur age run offense ethic and scheme that kills Luck each season.

Kap's gone next year, I would assume. He's the last big domino to fall. Maybe it's naivity, but I can still see him staying. Give Kap a coach who knows what to do and most importantly, an offensive line he can trust to give him time, and Kap will bring the Niners back to respectability. I think he wants to stay in San Fran, I don't think the market value for him is very high right now, and should the Niners keep their ducks in a row, I think he'll stay. Again, maybe it's naivety on my part. As for this first week of playoffs, I'm not really surprised about anything that happened; it seemed to be a pretty status quo weekend with no surprises... amirite?

Yeah, everything pretty much went as most expected. IMO, the only game that offered any real potential for going either way was the Packers and Giants game, but I'm very happy it went the way it did (minus the J.Nelson rib injury).

Dallas lost so we can all sleep at night. Now as long as New England doesn't win the SB, I can feel better about Seattle being done. Would not mind seeing Atlanta take it to the end.

Pitsburgh is going to have to score a touchdown to actually beat New England... And we all know the Falcons are gonna choke it up against the Packers. I think NE will repeat. Sorry PSIII: too bad about yer seahawks... that called back touchdown against Hester really kicked yer boys in the balls that game.

Too bad KC lost over the weekend as I was hoping to see a Packers verse Chiefs Super Bowl I re-match. Not looking forward to either the Patriots or Steelers making it to the Super Bowl and definitely not winning it; hoping that the NFC takes the title this year and keeping my fingers crossed that the Packers can be the team to pull that off. If the Packers make it though no matter what there will be a Super Bowl rematch whether that's a rematch of Super Bowl XXXI or Super Bowl XLV.

Can't wait till Brady and his husband, Belichick, retires. Then New England will be nothing again and the fans can shut up. Actually, they'd probably be like Dallas or SF on their rings.

So, Santa Clara fans. How you liking FA so far? Garcon signed for 40 million like a WR1 (he's good, but really a WR2 tops), and signing Hoyer. I mean, he's nothing but a placeholder for their QB draft, but still looks funny. All I can say is that you guys are lucky they went with him instead of trading for Cousins. You would have been ruined.

They have been smart with their money, but most of the signings have been to rebuild their horrible horrible offense. I just hope they remember that the Niner defense was equally crappy and could use some work... unless that is where they're going to focus on in the draft. But so far, everything I have read, the Niners have done a decent job of stopping the bleeding. Which, imho, is goal #1: stopping the bleeding. I'm not forseeing anything more than a 5 win season and a high draft pick, but the Front office is doing a good job so far. Let's hope Shanahan can make it work on the field doe. How do you feel about yer $hithawks signing Lacy PSIII?

How do you feel about yer $hithawks signing Lacy PSIII? Real good about it actually. Big bruiser and good yardage after contact. Better than hoping Adrian Peterson would fit in our shotgun formation. And the deal is quite team friendly. 2.8 million guaranteed.

Yeah, I'm disappointed the Packers didn't bring him back on a similar incentive laced deal that would have also protect the team in case he failed to control his weight. Not sure what Ted Thompson is doing this year as he's always operated with the desire of keeping his own. Pretty pissed that Datone Jones left for Minnesota, Eddie Lacy signed with the Seattle Seahawks, and JC Tretter took off for the Cleveland Browns as these were three young guys who's cost wouldn't harm the team's financial flexibility and had shown signs of solid or better performance; plus, they each represented upper draft investments -- no sense in letting them walk IMO. Of that group I think Datone Jones will prove as the biggest loss. It's been a frustrating off-season so far.

They did pretty well on the draft. Especially getting Reuben Foster.
