Wow....
So... people wonder why Titans and Hunters get nerfed and punished so hard... yet Warlocks are the favoured children?
It's because titans and hunters break the game

LOL. Quickdraw changes absolutely kill Bladedancer if it wasn't dead already -- other unnecessary changes would've left it on life support anyway though. The Truth now less useful then many random legendaries. Ophidian Aspects nerfed to near-uselessness. Missed that the hungering blade nerf fucked up regen perks on 3 other subclasses and several exotics until it was too late to fix before the patch went live. Nice job Bungo, way to give 110%!

Also, the 25% nerf to rangefinder shotgun ADS speed was actually a buff. Instead of slowing ADS time by 25% on shotguns with rangefinder, ADS is now 25% quicker. LOL. I mean, did ANYONE playtest this? How does that go unnoticed?

I mean, did ANYONE playtest this? How does that go unnoticed? The playtest team went back to playtesting Destiny 2. Or they thought that no one was going to use shotguns. I mean, despite not mentioning it, the LoW still does precision damage

His income is pretty tied to the popularity of the game, not surprising he's publicly for the changes.
It's ridiculous that Sidearms don't lose any ammo upon death.
No Land Beyond went from being 6.89% of kills in Elimination this year to 11.07% yesterday, making it the #1 weapon. It's going to be a problem.

Yes and no.... yes, he gets income from the game but he was quite critical of the shotgun meta 5/6 months ago. Triplewreck generally doesn't take that much crap from Bungo and will call then on it
As for the sidearms bit.... I don't know why that's the case either.
I think the initial popularity of the NLB will wain once the unwashed masses start getting frustrated with it and go back to a more forgiving weapon. If anything, I could see harder hitting scouts (JRabbit and its legendary equivalents) or the MIDA and a sidearm combo be fine.
Or just go ham with an Invective

However, the population that plays Trials of Osiris is not a random sample of the population - the average skill level is significantly higher. NLB was already the second or third most popular primary in Trials. Participation numbers continue to slowly decline for Trials, while the percentage of people (that participate) that go flawless remains ~15%. The ones that can use NLB will continue to be successful and play, while those that can't will get sniped.

This accuracy buff on the hand cannons kind of makes me want to finish off the First Curse quest, just need to do the 7 precision kills in PvP step (got to 6 a number of times, got frustrated, and stopped going for it).
Plus the Imprecation should be a bit easier now due to the 8 round magazine...hopefully.

But skilled players can use any gun and give them a bit of a chance to get used to it, they'll start wrecking. Just like if you give me a katana and a ninja master a toothpick, I'm still going to die regardless of having the superior weapon. Ultimately, Trials will always be elite and at least imho, Bungie doesn't necessarily take them into account when making PVP changes.

Just like if you give me a katana and a ninja master a toothpick, I'm still going to die regardless of having the superior weapon. Ultimately, Trials will always be elite and at least imho, Bungie doesn't necessarily take them into account when making PVP changes. There's a big difference between the NLB and other guns. An auto rifle, for example, has a very high skill floor and a very low skill ceiling - it's easy to pick up and use. A more skilled player will do better with it, but there isn't a big difference in its functionality for a bad player as compared to a good one. NLB, on the other hand, has a very low skill floor and a very high skill ceiling. A talented player will pop out from cover, already knowing which sight line to look down, aim, headshot you before they even appear on your screen due to lag, and be back behind cover before you even know you're dead. An unskilled player isn't using cover, doesn't know the sightlines, and doesn't have that kind of aim. Trials is the PvP end game, so I don't know why they wouldn't take it into account. It's elite, but it's become more and more so. Over the past year, the peak number of participants was 827k. Last week was only 262k. It's kind of a problem when it feels like most of the people reaching the Lighthouse are professionals and the people they're carrying.

Triplewreck generally doesn't take that much crap from Bungo and will call then on it Critical of a shotgun meta in a game that promotes CQC heavily due to map design, in-game mechanics (such as no audible footstep sounds from hostile players) and Guardian abilities? Am I reading this correctly? Can you imagine some of the maps in COD that allow long ranged engagements in Destiny? Me neither. A portion of the playerbase is to blame for bailing on larger maps because they get bored if they have to spend more than five seconds to find someone to shoot at, then wonder why they get spawn killed when the maps become small enough. You're also not going to get people straying from the meta in lobbies if bounties require wins, which have been reduced over time, and SBMM being strict.

In homage to the atrocious patch that Bungie put out, the Nine decided to give Xur the worst inventory in his history. Honestly, I had to take a moment and pause to see if it was worth my time and waste of space on the internet to repost it from reddit. But duties are duties... but this one was hard to do kids.
But I don't care if you have a vault and 3 characters full of 9999 strange coins... there is no reason to waste them this week. Just delete the stack and carry on.
Know how in weeks gone by, people say how bad Xur is? Well, this is the week that they say it and it's right.
No amount of polish can make this turd shine. No amount of freezing can shape this $hit.
None.
This is a new low. I like to say I see the good in everything or everyone. Even I can't this week.
*sigh*
Xur's in The Reef... but don't bother visiting him because it's a waste of time. Maybe just try that hovering thing on the edge of the spawn instead? Or go hump one of the latex queen's guard hotties? Jerk it to Petra?
He's selling the worst weapon in the game, the Hard Light for 23 SC which is like paying $1,000,000 to a Tijuana 25 cent meth crackhead hooker. Honestly. I've lost all respect for you if you spend this many coins on this trash piece of garbage weapon. It says something about you as a person and reflects badly upon you, your family, and literally everyone associated with you. I'd just commit Sepuku or the ritualized suicide procession of your culture.
Eternal Warrior Titan Helmet with 42 Int // 43 Str for a 92% for 13 SC but it's a horrible helmet so literally, just delete the stack of SC instead of giving them to Xur.
Lucky Raspberry Hunter Chest Armor with a 103 Dis roll for 84% for 13 SC which is equally attrocious so again... just delete the 13 SC instead of spending them
Purifier Robes Warlock Chest Armor with a 55 Int // 57 Dis for 92% but given that they are perhaps the worst warlock chest piece you can wear, again... delete the 13 SC instead of spending them
Legacy Engram is the Gauntlet Engram for 29 SC but honestly, if you need gauntlets, you should feel bad and just delete your characters and start over again.
