Yes. Anywhere besides the foot will kill in 1 shot.

It appears to have a base damage of 98 with a 1.1x+ multiplier to every hitbox aside from the feet.

From your recent video, the BAR is basically the KN44 and the FG-42 is the MoW. They are almost exactly the same, a least in the important stats

From your recent video, the BAR is basically the KN44 and the FG-42 is the MoW. They are almost exactly the same, a least in the important stats

Yep! Damage, range and rate of fire are nearly identical. The attachments on these seem to behave the same as well. The BAR has a very small benefit from Adv Rifling whereas the FG 42 has it's range likely doubled (I can't find a line of sight long enough) with advanced rifling.

Thanks for that noticed this already. On PS4 Local Play it seems hitting feet and lower leg does 99dmg, upper legs, hands and lower arm does 148dmg and rest of the body 198dmg.
The wooden targets on firing range seems to have 99 health.

sorry i may have misinterpreted what step youre on

whatevers loaded into memory should be ints. it'll just be a series of unlabeled numbers that correlate with gunstats. dump that and then start trying to convert them into readable numbers.

after that, marv converted them manually to try and look for numbers hed seen before (they reuse a lot of numbers from older games and certain things like recoil values are grouped together), and compared them with empirical data to confirm.

if you dumped it to a text file then people could probably help you dig through it. but to save you some time, theres nobody still active here thatd know which are which.

If you can dump string tables into a text file, I can navigate my way around and give a hand.

Brass and Marv have their app available with the Hard stats, but i already found an error. App states Bren LMG is 50 damage for 127m, but its 3 shot in game

The 4 shot range of the Waffe appears to be about 250 inches and the 3 shot of the MP-40 looks to be just 100 inches based on my testing (assuming my method of measuring distance is as accurate as I think it is).

100inch range for the MP40... what the hell is even the point? Man that is so stupid. The prestige weapon for Airborne is literally the worst gun in the class. Why wouldn’t you just use the Type 100 or PPSH?

Have you tried testing in a private match? I just tested the Bren in a private match both with and without health regen on. It takes 2 shots to kill except at extreme ranges. (past 127m)

I am confident in the numbers shown in the app. Have you tried testing in a private match? I just tested the Bren in a private match both with and without health regen on. It takes 2 shots to kill except at extreme ranges. (past 127m)

Tested in public match, in custom vs bots and in firing range. Are you online or offline. There is also not 1 youtube video about it being 2 shot. Thanks for your help with this.

Console must be different than PC.
3 shot everytime on Xbox.

So it looks like the Bren may have different stats on PC vs console. This is most likely a mistake. So far I can confirm both from the game code stats and hand testing that on PC the Bren will kill in 2 shots up to 127m (very far). However, multiple people have said on XBOX it takes 3 shots even at close range. If anyone can test on PS4 and reply, that would be helpful too.

Overall, I would expect this to be patched in favor of the PC values. The Bren fires very slowly and it would be seriously outclassed if it was a 3 shot weapon at all ranges.
