Modifiers
Momentum: Health and shield regeneration are disabled while standing still. Sprint to regenerate more quickly.
Timewarp: Anomalies: Strange anomalies have been detected in the area. Destroy them to release temporal energy and extend the mission timer.

Lots of good points made by Slayerage... skip to 12:50 if you want the tl;dw I was extremely skeptical of the new weapon loadout system before launch... and yeah. It's a disaster. Suckass Weapons is a great term for it. There was a serious zen to swapping between your three D1 weapons as you unleashed a symphony of violence. In D2 I'm on Suckass 1 and Suckass 2 really only comes out against second rate shielded enemies. Did they playtest the concept at all? I can't imagine booting it up for the first time and thinking "Oh man I got 2 hand cannons now and no sniper rifle this is the bomb fuckin' dotcom!" |

But I came late and arrived at the Bathers. - bathers was hardest for me because I couldn't follow anyone and was isolated a lot... I didn't know what to shoot at in the middle so I just followed everyone else's lead - I screwed up my area and went to the wrong dog but that didn't seem to matter (did it?) super loved this section as it reminded me a bit of the Gorgon maze but less annoying - the hardest part of the gauntlet was that 2 people were talking at the same time and I had to figure out which target to shoot at - Calus fight went okay... I think I had the easiest role... but the only thing that screwed me up most was that I didn't know what platform to jump to next to do damage... so I sorta floated in the air, did a 360, tried not to die, looked to see where everyone was, then followed them and was consistently late for damaging Calus - another confusing part was after each section we had to leave an go clear an area... why? was it to unlock a new area? get ammo? Honestly, I still have no idea about the mechanics of a lot of things, but at least I can watch more videos to learn about it. I did enjoy it a LOT more than WotM I got a a pair of raid boots from the 29 (now 9 left) tokens, the IAddress pulse rifle... a warlock bond from the main chest... shaders and an emblem. I also have 3 keys that I never used though... but never knew where those chest were to use them Again...a good time and I like to think I wasn't too much of a burden (on some parts) |

Well, that’s a good enough step in the right direction to convince me to get CoO and keep playing, even though it’s pretty much all stuff that should have been in the game since launch. Sounds like sandbox tuning and other patch notes are coming as well, hopefully in the TWAB but probably not until CoO launches based on past releases. Hopefully there are changes there that impact crucible in a positive way.

What will happen as the months go on though? Soon, people will be drowning in ornaments, drowning in masterclass (or whatever they're called) mods, or whatever and the cycle will begin again.
And as always, I'm always disappointed that there won't be a vault increase.

The quitter penalty is only for competitive, not quickplay, so I don't think it's going to be a problem for you IW5K. The issue in competitive is that matchmaking won't fill an empty slot once somebody quits, so it ends up being a 3v4 or worse for the rest of the game, which ruins things for the guys left shorthanded, and is kind of a waste of time for the full team who's now going to stomp with little effort. I'm guessing it'll only apply to repeat offenders, or the penalty will start small and ramp up the more times you leave early.

I accepted the lack of vault space arguement when legacy consoles were still being suported.
There is no reason why we can't have a 999 slot vault, 200 spots each for shaders, mods, and inventory. Complete bullshit

In other news I completed my prestige raid armour set for my Warlock and Hunter today so all three characters. Lucked out since I got boots from the Royal Pools and then swapped to Hunter for the rest of the run to get the chest and I got it at Calus. Guess I could wear it on patrol since I'll be handicapping myself using raid armour in the raid. *sigh*
