Man they weren't kidding about low TTK, the AK of this game is a 5HK. The Titan looks promising, could easily be a 3HK with one headshot.

Added VAPR. Gun is garbage from the get go though since it doesn't get AP rounds.
One of the devs said that there are Gears that perform better than the Body Armor but I'm very certain that is only because AP rounds completely counter Body Armor.
In other words, use something other than Body Armor (like Stim Shot or the Awareness+Sixth Sense one) but still use AP rounds to counter Body Armor users.
