Thanks Marvel. Yikes, the LMG's only get a 25% reduction? All more the reason to use Grip + Stock on the HAMR.

Thanks for the info, Marvel.
Now to rant about Quickdraw on LMGs... Why do LMGs with Quickdraw get the lowest benefit? (Heck, why do they have such a gosh darn golly gee whiz high base ADS time that's even higher than snipers?) *facepalm* No wonder I noticed very little difference with it. They should have higher percentage gain from Quickdraw. No more Quickdraw on LMGs for me then unless they change that.
And why do the SMGs get the most benefit from Quickdraw? They already have one of the fastest ADS times barring pistols. It should be the same as the ARs and Shotguns (40%) They're already OP enough...

Where did XboxAhoy get his 0.22 s number for SMGs? Bet he regets that now. In his defense, it was probably the best information at the time. And why do the SMGs get the most benefit from Quickdraw? They already have one of the fastest ADS times barring pistols. That is the reason.

I still find it a little unreasonable to give SMGs a higher benefit with Quickdraw than any other weapon when they are already fast enough. Should've been 40% like the Shotguns and ARs or maybe lower. And LMGs will have to suffer from super painful long ADS times. That needs to be adjusted to at least 35% or more.

Should've been 40% like the Shotguns and ARs or maybe lower. The benefit is diminished because it's already so fast, making it almost pointless to use quickdraw to begin with. Having that extra little bit of speed versus 40% makes it.. slightly less worthless. It was a good choice on 3arcs part to give SMGs a greater advantage. Also, didnt anyone else notice that quickdraw is -100ms on [all?] weapons. This was something I asked for back in MW2 days.

I'm about to flip a table after seeing those LMG numbers. Huge rant inc tomorrow.

It's really not retarded at all, actually. It somewhat preserves the usefulness of the attachment across different weapon classes without making them the same (like the alternative give-LMGs a bigger-boost-andSMGs-a-smaller-one way would).
Also, dat Kap .40 ADS

executioner has a higher ads than the other pistols? the shotguns have a slower ads time than smgs? the shotguns have a lower reduction with quickdraw? ARE YOU KIDDING ME, TREYARCH

It suffers from sprint recovery if you have no Dexterity ( I can't use one on my classes because of no free points left). However, with Dexterity…Also, I'm glad to see that guide numbers were not totally wrong, only usual 0.02 sec. mistake.
As always, one little side question: does the Quickdraw Handle decrease the Switching Stance Penalty while ADS? ( I know it could have already been discussed in another threads but they're too long to read from the beginning.)

Q: do sight attachments have any impact on ADS time, except for Iron Sights on Ballista?
Below are the list of sight attachments in BO2:
Reflex EOTech ACOG Hybrid Variable Zoom Dual Band Target Finder MMS
I assume that none of them will increase/decrease the ADS time vs. the default, for all weapon classes?

Oh wow, an actual incentive to use them, then!
Except for the Reflex/EOTech. They blow shit.

Except for the Reflex/EOTech. They blow doo-doo.
I wouldn't say the Reflex sucks, but I can see why you think it's not that useful. Most weapons on Black Ops II have really awesome irons, and the Target Finder works like a charm in most cases. EOTech just straight up sucks dick.

Doesn't EOTech completely remove gunkick though? (Not viewkick, but gunkick) If so, it's not as useless then. I only find the Reflex to be a useless optic IMO.
Hmm... maybe not actually.

Only scopes like the Dual Band and Variable Zoom do that.

It has a different firing animation, so it MIGHT be useful if you find the default animation for a weapon distracting for some reason. It's a purely visual effect though.

EOTech also has a slight zoom advantage over all classes except LMGs.

So on a sniper using the default scope, the variable zoom, or the dual band scope has no effect on ADS time?
