All MW2 Masterkeys had the same stats. The range was just really good.
All guns that are not normally full auto suffer some demerit when made full auto, with most suffering a fire rate penalty. The SWAT does not receive this penalty, but instead does significantly less damage.

Use ACOG scopes on Assault Rifles, done, enjoy.

I did notice that sights now change stats in Create-a-Class, but paid it no heed because it's in-game stats.
Does the ACOG reduce recoil on all weapons? Do any of the other sights possess effects beside aesthetics?

The ACOG scope removes sway. It also notably reduces recoil on the FAL and SWAT, appears to have no recoil effect/minor centrespeed reduction on autos (Have yet to fire it at a wall, this is just of visual notes)
Vahn said that the MMS added recoil Pre-release. Again, probably a minor effect.
Dual-band scope probably reduces recoil on some LMGs, though I should test that as well (this is a 100% assumption)
I think the EOTech has a slightly higher zoom than RDS in line with MW3 EOTech.

Someone on this board was saying that the mms increased recoil which it probably does(or else how would it be balanced against the red dot/reflex?)

I checked out the recoil plots in the strategy guide today, and it seems that select fire improves the recoil on all guns. It was amazingly blatant for the FAL...the FAL already had incredible recoil, but with select fire the scatter plot was literally a single dot in the exact middle of the x and y axis. Can anyone verify this ingame?

Someone on this board was saying that the mms increased recoil which it probably does(or else how would it be balanced against the red dot/reflex?) The fact that it's completely ineffective at the job it's supposed to do. Yeah, the optic on top of your gun makes it kick more. Seems legit. Oh Treyarch. How about the Target Finder? I presume that increases recoil as well?

there was no evidence that mms increased recoil whatsoever. People need to stop reading "I think it does this" and taking it as fact. That being said, on top of being fairly good at revealing CB users, it's pretty much one of the clearest optics in the entire game. Evidence? How about Vahn himself saying? And I know "the in-game stat bars are a lie" but even they show decreased accuracy. Either way, I'm about to go test right now. I'll report back. Oh, and what's CB?

Extensive testing ended up being highly inconclusive, partly because of CoD's random nature of recoil. IF there is any recoil modification from either the ACOG or MMS, it's extremely minor and wouldn't make any practical difference. I didn't even notice a true difference in recoil on the SWAT or SMR when equipping either of them with ACOG. The only thing I can be 100% sure on is the removal of sway with the ACOG.
When Vahn said the MMS had increased recoil, it was well pre-release. Since people were complaining about the MMS being underpowered even before world launch, that penalty was probably removed. But honestly the bullet spreads between all 3 of the optics averaged out to be pretty much the same.
To the OP: One attachment with some nasty hidden effects is Rapid Fire. Do NOT use Rapid Fire. Just dont, or you'll have some miserable games.

not sure why you need pictures for this though. all this information is already on COD Elite site (at least it is for attachments). i can't imagine how the book would have anything that is not already in Elite or in the game UI. Here are screenshots: imgur.com/mIfJv,nD8Yl#0 imgur.com/mIfJv,nD8Yl#1

Yeah if people could do recoil plots on their own versus what the strategy guide/elite has, that would be awesome. In game charts are never accurate and never cover the nuances of the changes that occur with different attachments.
Also, if MMS has no effect on recoil, it's by far the best sight in the game. Though I don't really use sites all that often because the irons are so good.

Anyone? What's so bad about rapid fire? at least 50% range reduction, if not more 30% increase in hipfire spread Reduced center speed (increased recoil)
