Alright, so we all know that putting an Attachment on an AK47 gives it Idle Sway, apart from an ACOG scope.
But when you Bling the AK47 and put on an ACOG Scope, as well as something that would give the AK idle sway (Silencer, FMJ... basically everything), the Bling'd AK will also start to idle, even though the ACOG scope is put on.
So is the AK47's ACOG and No Attachment - No Idle just something they forgot to take out?

Who knows? Ask the developers.

They probably figured that it's nerfed enough since ACOG adds recoil.

Logic fail, ACOG does not do anything to your AK, so if you combine that with something that gives your AK sway, what will your AK do? Sway. 0+1=1, easy as that.

ACOG does not do anything to idle, but it does add recoil so ACOG+any other attachment=Recoil+Idle.

ak is best pure, no sway n less recoil put SoH in the pure ak class and it compensates for the iron sights at long range coz u aim down the sights faster

Does the ACOG increase recoil for all weapons?

I'm not sure about snipers, but I can positively say yes for every ACOG'd weapon I've ever used. Which is every AR and SMG.

As far as I know, ACOG adds SWAY and RECOIL to every weapon, except for the AK-47 where the ACOG only adds recoil.
What I want to know is, does ACOG increase damage over range, just like the silencer decreases it? I got this idea because when you scroll trough the attachment menu, when you go over the silencer, you will see it makes the range bar shorter, and the ACOG makes the range bar longer. Is the only benefit the zoom itself after all?

The acog does not add sway to all the weapons. I know that for sure. I feel like quite a few of the weapons do not gain sway with acog, but I haven't gone in and checked.

i was going to say, I don't think it adds sway to the FAMAS, at least it doesn't seem like it to me

You're right, I tested a couple of weapons FAL: yes M16: yes AK: no Mini-Uzi: no UMP: no
And I don't even know if it's real sway, or just animation. On the SMGs I tested, the ACOG took a little time to get centered.

This has been gone over before. The ACOG does not add idle to any weapon. Some weapons have an animation that causes the rear part of the ironsight to move. Unfortunately, this animation has nothing to do with idle and pulls the ACOG (as it is situated on where the rear ironsight would be) away from where the shot will actually go.
Sight a stock M4A1 and you'll see how the rear sight pulls down and to the right. The same thing happens with most of the weapons and their ACOG versions.
