ok. so we've all figured out that slugs in the shotties makes them amazing.
1) can someone explain the best setup for using the shotgun to snipe at long ranges? 2) i am confused by which shotties have bullet drop and which do not?
I read this posted by Den: "Oh, the USAS and Saiga use ordinary Bullet for their slugs, so no drop."
so now I am confused....
3) if I equip the Saiga + slugs + magnum rounds can I get 1 shot head shot kills at any range?
If you can us the saiga like a sniper rifle then why do people use the pump shotties + slugs + magnum?

The semi auto shotguns have no drop. the pump actions do. If your playing on a console with the 25% damage increase then with magnum on you should be able to get a 1 shot headshot at any range with a semi auto shotgun because 48.4 x 2.1 = 101.64 i suspect people use the pump because the damage is much greater than the semi autos. so if someone is weakened at all you have a better chance to drop them if its not a headshot. plus pump actions are just so shmexy. im basing the damages off this chart. img341.imageshack.us/img341/6395/updatedstats.pngwith den's modifiers posted on the homepage "For most weapons, a headshot delivers 2.1x damage. For Bolt Action Sniper Rifles and Pump Action Shotgun Slugs, a headshot delivers 3.25x damage. "

The Neostead would be the pump action of choice since it has the best overall reload time (typing of reload time, I've yet to change the pump shotguns' reload time on the chart, they reload far faster than they used to in the beta). The bullet specialization won't do the pump actions any good... unless you want to ensure a body shot will drop a guy up close just in case he has Body Armor... but you'd have to be right next to him to get 125 damage.
The Saiga and USAS are identical in almost all things, though the USAS is full auto... which is probably more of a negative than a positive. Also the USAS is pretty obscuring when it comes to zooming in. Damage specialization will do the automatic shotguns good at both long and close range. At long range, the shot will still fall short of 100 damage with a headshot, but it'll take off a necessary shot to the body. A point blank headshot has the ability to take out an enemy in one hit if he doesn't have Armor.

What doesn't?
A slug from a pump action will take out anyone at any range with one headshot.
A slug from an automatic will require more than one shot to the head (except for a point blank shot with Magnum against an enemy without Armor).
