Just wondering how exactly the spread reducing spec works on say an M60 (with PC version). Does it affect both hip firing and scoped? i take it it would reduce spread values to BASE 1.34 and MOVE 2.01? zoomed would be BASE 0.4355 and ZOOM 0.25795?
Which would be better on stock server extra bullet damage or the spread reducer spec for M60?

Standing, Crouching, both from the hip and Zoomed. The Minimum spread (which is in the Spread column) and the Maximum spread (5.0) are both decreased to 0.67x of their original size.
One thing I'm unsure of right now is if it decreases the Spread added per Shot as well.
It's kind of a toss up. One less shot needed at a distance with Magnum for the M60 or a greater assurance that you will make another shot land.

thanks den.
Is the 5.5 maximum spread the max for hip and scoped and does jumping once put it at the max spread instantly.

Assault, SMGs, LMGs (the three that get accuracy Spec) and automatic Recon Rifles have the same Max Angle of 5.0 in any posture.
Pistols have a Max Angle of 3.0 from the hip and 2.0 when zoomed. M93R has 4.0 for both.
They all have 5.5 while jumping.

is that the same for shotguns too, i usually jump with them a lot and they still seem to kill ok unlike the other guns that go too inaccurate

When equipped with Buckshot, the spread never changes.
When equipped with slugs... you can see the crosshair expand to 5 on its own when you jump.

Does it affect recoil?
