Do the shots from a shotgun with slugs ever stop doing damage? Do they have a higher drop off rate? If not it basically means a pump action with slugs will do the highest long range damage other then snipers.

The weapon charts show the lowest damage they do is 50, and I know Den has said they travel indefinitely (I believe everything besides tank shells, 40mms and the like do) with some bullet drop at long range.

It is just kind of stupid that a pump action with slugs does more damage then say the M14 even at sniper ranges.

The pump action shotguns only get to shoot every 0.7 seconds, the M14 can fire much faster. Speed vs Power.

It really wouldn't matter either way. The bottom line is you don't get a 'splosion after a certain amount of seconds. Side Q: What about the launchers? The RPG and CG seem to go indefinitely, but the AT4 seems to snuff out if it's in the air too long (making it do loops while attempting to hit a blackhawk is fun)

The bottom line is you don't get a 'splosion after a certain amount of seconds. it matters a tiny bit: you still can die by direct impact (don't laugh, happened to me by a random 40mm a friend of mine fired halfway across the map xD )
