Does Nova Gas stack? Say I see a bunch of blue scav packets and I start chucking Novas and I run into the packs and end up chucking like 6 Novas- Can it insta kill people?

Whenever I use Nova, I use Warlord for the extra toss. If I throw 2 at the same location, sometimes I'll get hitmarkers out the wazoo.

...I tried nova gas on myself in splitscreen... 2 novas didn't speed the kill time up whatsoever.
Perhaps it's different online, or you had 2 foes go into the bigger cloud, or one guy couldn't find his way out and walked into the other cloud...
At any rate... I think tac mask is actually a pretty sweet ass perk.

Aye, TacMask is my favorite 3rd perk. I use it on all my non-stealth frontline classes. I'm especially adept at flashing myself, and the mask really helps with that.
And yeah, I assume that's what happened. It would be hilarious though if an entire team could throw their Novas at say, B in Dom, and have the entire enemy team die instantly upon entering the cloud. Although I can see why they wouldn't let us do that.

You can also block an entrance for a bit to just barely ease your mind that no one is going to shoot out of that direction like a bat out of hell while you move around.

Although I can see why they wouldn't let us do that. Tac Mask Pro is pretty sweet, but it's still a pretty glaring design flaw on Treyarch's end. Making Tac Mask only negate one special grenade and making that the first unlocked green perk was a bad call. Not only is it practically worthless without the Pro Version, it makes Nova Gas questionable (especially for the first couple weeks after release). Marathon or even Ninja would've made much more sense as the first Green perk unlocked.

I think TacMask should disable stuns by default. Nova gas is too underused (especially with only 1 by default) to be negated so early in the game. Everyone and their mother uses stuns. Even if TacMask blocked stuns at the get go, people would still use stuns exclusively. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the game who uses flashes.

My habit is: Stuns for average mobility class Flashes for high mobility class
smoke and decoys for tactics I used to use nova gas... I guess it's for tactics too...

This reminds of an obscure tidbit. When you are playing splitscreen offline Scavenger replenishes RPGs.

Offline splitscreen seems to lack many patches. For example, snipers still have the old sway + random bullet... but the Famas "patch" is in. I wonder if that means that they were considering RPG [maybe China Lake and so on as well] to be replenished via scavenger, and then patched it out...

Well they should replenish, seeing as how frags have like twice the power of RPGs and CLs. Well, not really, but their power is reversed.
