How do I team slayer when ragequitting happened?
Went on today and saw about 15 ragequits in the space of 4 matches. One time, we were up against a full party, and they weren't THAT great, and two people on my team ragequit while we were winning. They weren't that good skillwise, but they got all the power weapons and the highground on Reflection, so it was really annoying. Plus I was trying to do some stupid jetpack challenge on Bumper Jumper controls and trying to get my bearings with the claw grip, so I ended up dying a lot.
Anyway, what do you guys do when you're really up against the wall? When your enemies have the better weaponry, position, communication and numbers? Because I'm really stumped as to how to resolve this sort of thing. I'm not really the greatest omg mlg player.

I dunno, yet. I've only played one game so far. Was up against a clan that had two members on my own team and the whole other team. They just dicked around until one of them TKed me and I bumped him for it, then my whole team quit and let me play 1 vs 4. meh... I stuck it out and played the whole game just because, though. heh I'm morally opposed to ragequitting. ;p
They weren't that great, though. I had nearly as many kills as their top guy. Granted they only had one target... me, and they all killed me plenty so they had at least 3X the total kills as I did, but still. Had I more online experience I bet I actually could have done okay. They didn't really teamwork all that much. Usually I could fight them 1 on 1.
Though maybe I should have just found a nice little place to camp and made them come to me, just to frustrate them. heh I'd have to move around after every kill, but still.

When in a 4v1 situation, tactical loitering, nades, and a good OHK on a no shields headshot gun is best.

Yeah, sadly I hadn't learned the map, (it being my first game) so I mostly just had default weapons. Mebbe next time.

Nice. Yeah if they don't attack you in groups it really removes their numerical advantage because it's just a series of individual firefights.

OT. Just looking at your stats and wow... I've played a lot of campaign... lol Hell you have 1d 11h 56m on competitive, your largest online group, and I have 2d 8h 25m on campaign! ;p
And yet I still haven't done it on Legendary yet... what am I waiting for? heh heh

Campaign 1d 12hr 16m Firefight 0d 18hr 45m Competitive 1d 11hr 02m Invasion 0d 1h 15m
Out of campaign missions, the majority is spent on ONI Sword Base and Winter Contingency, mostly for boosting reasons.
Out of maps with > 1hr playtime Sword Base has my best KDR and most playtime of a single map. Countdown has my best WLR. Reflection has worst KDR. Boardwalk has worst WLR.

I actually don't play that much. I pretty much only play team snipers and juggle that with MW2 and BO, so none of my games get a lot of playtime.

Yeah I only ever play Team Slayer nowdays. Big Team Battle is a no go when you're strictly solo (none of my IRL friends have Reach, most people are on Blops, MW2 or Halo 3). I like objective games, but some of them are pretty crap. Any sort of Assault/Defense game really gets on my nerves, I much prefer neutral objectives like Territories, 2 flags or Headhunter. Problem is that not very many people play Team Objective, and even fewer play it hoping to go scrub it up with some randoms. Team Snipers is okay, but I hate it when Haemorrage gets voted because it's just base tactical loitering everywhere. Team SWAT turns down a little of the base tactical loitering, but it's a bit CoD-esque (and tbh I'd rather play CoD) and it has really really really quite very incredibly bad spawns. I have a video where I walk into an empty corridor with teammates nearby, I reload my DMR, and when I'm done a guy has spawned in the corner. I couldn't see him when he spawned because my gun was in the way.
So yeah, just team slayer right now. I don't really care much for FFA since it was my main mode of ranking up in Halo 3 and now I'm just sick of it. I play Firefight and Campaign a lot because of credit boosting. Firefight Arcade is a bit boring and easy but you can get a lot of credits in an hour. Typically it's about 10k-15k credits for an hour of gameplay depending on how high you can spree and how many medals you get. It's not too hard. Especially when you roll rocketfight or fistfight, then you'll pretty much get an overkill to killamanjaro at the start of every wave.
