Free to play game on Steam, and very similar to Counter Strike IMO. Maybe Den could make a chart on it?

Hey, this is pretty good. Like Combat Arms, except it doesn't suck.

How does the weapon purchase work? Do you buy weapons etc. for a limited time, or are in-game purchases permanent?

Permanent, but you need to maintain them, not a problem since you get monies after each game.
Now ARMOR is a completely different story.

Expendable weapons go down after use and will disappear after the bar ends, same with armor and such, and permanent has a % of health, and you can repair it whenever. Expendable is cheaper, but lasts shorter.

Are there Expendable versions of permanent weapons, or are they the weapons you buy with real money?

Every weapon has an expendable and permanent version. And then there is the same gun that you pay with money, but can buy it at any level. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah, the game I played did the same thing... there are like 6 different M4A1 variants in it. Edit: actually closer to 8 now that I think about it.

Gave AVA a try, good for pure running and gunning, but it just didn't click with me for some reason.

Hey, this is pretty good. Like Combat Arms, except it doesn't suck. Aww I loved Combat Arms. I spent literally hundreds of dollars on that game. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I couldn't play it because I was too good apparently. Everybody in the game was a whiny baby. 3 kills in a row OMG HAX! 2 headshots in a row OMG HAX! Some days I got kicked out of every lobby I could find. Elite moderators made it even worse, I never joined a lobby that had one as a rule of thumb. I liked how a headshot was an insta-kill though, it made every weapon deadly in the right hands.
