This morning I had multiple occasions (>=3 times) in which:
1) I saw a guy (not moving) and fire first ADS with MK14 w/rapid fire 2) At least 2 - 3 shot went out before he noticed me, but no hit markers 3) You can imagine what happened next :-)
I am guessing this is due to terrible lag, however I've never experienced this with any other weapons. Anybody else had similar experience and know what might have happened?
Thanks!

My general guideline for death because of lag is if I can't count exactly how many bullets it took to kill me, lag was a factor.

Turn the corner.
There's a guy with a CM901.
Did he kill you instantly?
Lag.
Really, though, you should be able to tell individually when you're getting hit, and how many times you've been hit. When you can't, there's lag involved.
There's lag involved a lot of times. ._.
Sometimes I think an onscreen health meter (preferably with numbers) would help so much.
---
I have experienced this quite a few times, however. Fire at a guy, no hitmarkers, so you end up having to expend the full clip on him to get a kill.
(I don't like all burst/semi-auto weapons in laggy environments, which honestly seems to be the majority for me.)
OR
Use the Type 95. Have uncertainty whether you kill or not, with ambiguous hitmarkers, so you hit a guy with one burst up close, he moves to the right for a second and then falls over dead.
Replace Type 95 with any OSK sniper rifle, or shotgun.
OR
Get shot at. Dash to cover, and die behind cover. i.e. the infamous "Wanted Pro".
OR
Get shot at. Return fire to discover that in reality your bullets never happened. Die.
Honestly I think it's always been like this... Maybe it's that the netcode has always sucked, or maybe it's that console will never have dedicated servers.
I find it hard to put 4-5 bullets into a guy, stop aiming at him, and move on to the next one, because I'm never sure how many hits I can score, even though I know numerically how much damage my opponents can take.

i always look at the kill-cam, usually you'll see your guy standing there looking like a donkey while the dude that kills you plaster you away. that's lag.
i've noticed this a lot, i would dropshot or start shotting and die, the kill-cam shows me just running i.e. the movements of my adsing and shooting or proning are not even register on that guys console which is due to lag..

Use SPAS-12.
Hit someone point blank.
Watch him drop a whole sec later.

Use Spas-12 Hit someone point blank. Watch as you drop instantly from T95 or FMGs. Never fired a shot in killcam.

Here's an easy one.
You shoot a guy in the back a bunch of times...he turns around and kills you instantly.

Here's any easy one. You shoot a guy in the back a bunch of times...he turns around and kills you instantly. LOL. That's what happened to me one time. The interesting thing is that I only noticed this with the semi-auto weapon like MK14. Maybe that's more noticeable due to the low number of shots fired.

People only appear on the radar as a red dot after you've killed them.
Only happens when I'm host but it scares the crap out of me.

Hmmm. In that case: Ill say I'm nice with the aa12, put silencer on it, try & snipe people who are far away, obviously die, blame on lag. BEST PLAYER "IN NORMAL CONDITIONS" EVERRRR

i have basically put it this way
if people consistantly get the drop on me, its lag
there are times where i know someone is in a corner, i whip around prefiring, sights dead on, but i die isntantly, and on the killcam i wasnt even shooting, so i leave, i usually let this happen a couple times in a match, just to make sure im not just getting outplayed, but i notice it happening way more in TU6 than i had prior, i usually have to quit 3 games to find a good one
another thing i noticed, if your 4 bars, chances are you will get a laggier game than if you have 3 bars, im not saying 4 bars is ALWAYS a laggy game, but every game where i notice that huge difference in time, ive had 4 bars
