Not sure how much everyone has looked at Elite....i mean, really dug around in it. If you haven't, there are some interesting other stats you can pull from the site. Some are direct (look and see them)...and some others, you have to kind of get indirectly.
1.PPM per Map & KD per map.- I didn't even know these stats were on Elite until about a week ago. KD Ratio per map is the real interesting one, in that you can see what maps you do best on (at least in terms of KD). I was pretty amazed to find for myself, that my own KD variance is pretty wide. Eight maps where the KD is over 2.0...and eleven under. What's missing here? They really need a WL Ratio per map. So a player can see what maps he has the most trouble with. That would be a neat addition.
2. Capping Percentage Ratio - This is an indirect stat i can quickly ballpark...when looking at the pre-game lobby leaderboards. A lot of people never look at these, but they can tell a lot. Especially Capping Pct Ratio. Pretty much, before a game starts, one can glance and ballpark....Total caps divided by total Kills. Take kills, say 24,000 and divide by their caps, say 2,000. The ratio would be around 8%. That says a lot to me. I see some players with ratios in the 5 to 10% range....i have zero concerns of losing. I see guys with ratios up in the twenties (20 % to 30%)...get ready to rumble. It's going to be a good game.Bottom line...the above ratio tells how much the person is going to try and win....versus sitting around in corners being a douchebag farm-killer.
So if you can ballpark the pre-game lobby board quickly, glance and get a feel for the above....you have a heads up on how your opponents will play!!!
3. Gun KD Ratio. Again....this is a number pulled right from Elite. Pretty interesting, in that one can see what gun you do best with (if one was measuring 'best' in terms of KD ratio). This stat definitely puts some perspective for when you decide what gun to equip. What might confuse some people with the above is this. The above is best described as your 'Gun KD ratio'. Your Gun KD ratio does not, and will never equal what your overal KD ratio is. Why? It does not take into account things like frags, claymores, knife kills and most importantly, ....killstreak kills. So if you add up all your Gun kills and deaths.....on the Elite list....that's your Gun KD ratio. For example, mine is like 1.53
I then take and add all my equipment kills, plus knife kills....and then that gives me a new total....around 1.62. I'll call this my 'Barebones' KD ratio
All that's left now...is take the above total from my overall total of kills....this number is the amount of kills I got from Killstreaks (choppers, predators, IMS, etc...). Call this number your Killstreak Ratio. Mine is 16.08%. That is.....my killstreak kills are 16.08% of my total number of kills (48,612) Obviously....having those kills (which don't create any corresponding deaths), bumps one's KD ratio up to the final number we all see. Takes your Barebones KD...to your overall KD. For me, mine goes from 1.62 to 1.93.
Kind of a useless stat, but also kind of interesting. If a person runs a lot of UAV's, defensive streaks....their KS ratio i would imagine would be pretty low, maybe around 2 to 3%. If someone is racking up a ton of pavelows and Osprey's, maybe it might be around 20%?
Something fun to check out, if you have a few extra minutes.
