Bros,
How do you feel about Halo 4? I'm kind of concerned about how it will play. Many of these new "features" really make me wanna yell. Like, Instant Respawn, Always Sprint, AA's, and Random Weapon Drops. Definitely makes me scared.
I want a Halo 3.5, you should break what isn't broken. Halo 3 lasted for years. Look at Reach. Two years and it's basically dead.
Your thoughts?

Meh, I never played Halo very much, but that's mostly due to my incompetence when trying to aim with sticks. I would have played it if it was on PC, but that'll probably never happen. The only Halo I ever bought was Reach because it looked like it was going to have a really good story. Boy was I wrong. It wasn't bad, definitely better than most FPSes where the plot is of no interest to the player. I just blazed through the Campaign on the easiest setting in 8 hours, then played co-op firefight with my dad for a while. I've never played online because I'm not going to spend money to play online with other people when I can do that for free on all other platforms. Srsly Microsoft.
Anyway, I can only speculate because I don't have much experience with the franchise. From the footage I've seen of the multiplayer, It looks like it's incorporating a lot of CoD elements, with the biggest one being custom classes. I'm very skeptical of the custom classes in Halo because it's so different from the way Halo multiplayer has always worked, so it may ruin the classic balance of previous games (everyone starts with the same loadout with other weapons scattered around the map.) Even if 343 can balance it correctly, I'm sure it will still outrage a lot of fans, which I think is silly (why would you complain about a good game in a franchise you love?)
I do understand why 343 decided to incorporate CoD elements into the game. For the past few years, Halo has lost a lot of players. What has a ton of players? Call of Duty. If 343 can use CoD mechanics to draw in more players, and balance it well, they might be able to prevent Halo from dying out completely.

As bad as it sounds, it offers a solid platform to play on for less than $5 per month, especially if you can get a 12-month card on a deal. Like, they have been known to go for $35, which is less than $3 per month.
Why not?

Also, I'd rather not have to listen to the sexist, racist, homophobic bunch of kids and manchildren that Microsoft calls a 'community.'
