No one knows how refined the setup is.
If it really is "move x distance between scans" then yes, the complaints are warranted and this is retarded.
However, if its more like move from x radius within y time, and time is paused when reloading, using killstreaks, etc... then the system is good IMO.

I think Ghost will probably work as it says: if you're moving (ie using WASD/the left joystick) you won't show up on UAVs. If you're not moving, you will. I wouldn't expect any complex mechanics to be present, since for COD developers it always seems like the simpler, the better.

This. Also the LSAT looks to have slightly more recoil and comparable damage output to the Type 25. Dual Bands is some kind of Thermal sight.

does he not realize he broke the game? not only is this extremely easy to counter, but this is just going to annoy everyone who is sitting in a corner to reload or to heal or to do literally anything because "dammit they'll see me" Well maybe finally people are going to shoot those damm UAV out of the sky. If it was up to me, they could have nerfed it even more. Like ghost will only keep you of the radar while running. This would make it a real rushers perk, instead of a campers perk. Or they could have just make UAV's a 6 kill streak and have a full time ghost. This will make the ghost less attractive, because you will see less UAV's.

I'd like to see UAVs at 375 points. That way they would require four kills in most situations, but you could get away with a 75pt assist as well.

Since UAVs only show enemies at scan intervals, I think how it will work is that if you're roughly in the same place as where you were at the last scan interval you'll show up. It shouldn't matter if you're not moving at the time it scans since players stop all the time to reload etc. and shouldn't be punished for it it they happen to be stationary when the scan passes over. Really, the idea should be to detect campers who sit in the same corner/in the same window/prone looking down the same hallway without moving. The more I think about it, the more it seems like the most logical and reasonable solution without making Ghost as nerfed as everyone thinks it's going to be. batman The UAV is 375 points. And consider this: it takes 8 kills in objectives modes just to get a UAV if you don't play the objective.

i think the UAV could easily be balanced according to how many bullets it takes to shoot down. if a player can take down a UAV with a single magazine in an AR, then who cares about how ghost is gimped?

As great as that sounds, think about all the different combinations you could also have ie. all the things you would have to give up. No silencer. No adjustable stock (Stalker). No Fast Mags (SoH). No Select Fire (a good number of ARs are burst by default). No grip.
That's what excites me about BOII. Instaed of a bunch of attachments of which only a handful are useful, almost EVERY attachment is useful and caters to different playstyles. No more seeing the Silenced Red Dot ACRs all the time, I guarantee there will be much more weapon diversity (or at least, attachment diversity).

Because fu ck you, that's why. Really though, I don't see a problem with the RCXD, the UAV I feel will be a bit overused as usual, what with killstreaks generally being harder to get. What annoys me most is that the blackbird cannot be shot down so I mean it's effectively 30(45?) seconds of pure buttrape with no counter. Counter UAV perhaps?
