Wait what? No way. I don't think it was 1 meta centralizing, two an amazing threat, the only thing is it wasn't counterable, there was no team preparation that stopped spikes going up, your best bet was to get 3 rock blasts with Rhyperior. Go dunsparce!

Go with scolipede mousey. Smeargle sucks balls, and you potentially have a toxic spikes absorber (potentially because it is a fast spiked, and those are prone to getting koed early on) plus swarm megahorn is amazing.

You could try to work Accelgor in there...
Also I didn't see how that guy was cocky.... though it was a good game.

Ok then, maybe you don't need spikes, so you could go for an offensive threat, or a defensive pokemon. Nidoqueen is more viable with Frosslass gone, so could be a wall and toxic spikes support.

Hmmm we don't even know what Blastoise's ability does. Do I smell the first bench sniper?

Unless they nerf stealth rocks, which they should, charizard is going to suck. 50% damage on switch in sucks, and ideally no one should be hit that hard. Neutral damage would be a good idea, and there's precedent because future sight was changed from neutral to psychic damage, no reason to suggest they can't do the reverse for stealth cocks.

Rocks are the reason I stopped playing when 4th gen hit. It's ridiculous to have one move effectively remove a massive percent of Pokemon from the game.

It's only viable use should be removing sash and giving offensive mons extra help in taking out targets/giving stall a win condition. SE damage is stupid.

Team preview is still the dumbest feature to have ever become a standard thing. It works well in VGC because of the fact you have to pick 4 mons. Maybe it was to limit Zoroark, but that's not a good reason. Imo I like it because it changesthe whole lead 3 core mons sweeper sweeper type teams, it makes you able to be more flexible because you can use any pokemon as a lead trying to suspect what he's leading with.

Do you realise what sort of shitstorm you've gotten yourself into by posting on the victini thread mousey? They've discussed all that, the victini battle lines were drawn a month ago. You've entered a war zone where few have escaped.

from serebii Ghost types are no longer affected by moves that prevent fleeing such as Mean Look. Grass Pokémon can't be seeded or affected by moves such as SleepPowder or Stun Spore. Electric types can no longer be Paralysed. Steel-type also lost it's resistances to Ghost and Dark. And now that we know Fairy is super-effective against Dark but neutral against Ghost, Sableye and Spiritomb now have a weakness.

the thing about ghost and dark is that they dont really have any strong moves in general aside from very exclusive ones. Aside from shadow force (uber only) the strongest ghost moves are shadow ball (80) and shadow claw (70). For dark you have Crunch, Dark Pulse, and Sucker Punch (not including foul play which doesnt utilize your own attack stat). So I still dont see this as any problem lol. Dark has very few that really capitalize on its typing and really none that dont mainly rely on their other type as well (except weavile maybe). of course a new gen means that new pokemon can come about so we'll see i guess. I'm still buttfrustrated about it

I think SR made things a bit silly in that it trivialized some very cool pokes even if you could play around it sometimes.
