All teams will go in blind... There's already been a lot of discussion on this within MLG forums and other pro gamer sites. There's a belief that because of the Halo 4 leaks some never before heard of teams and lower level teams will end up making some noise at the tournament or upset a team that probably shouldn't get upset simply because they were able to garner prior experience, knowledge, as well as develop strategies for the tournament. Now, I don't think anybody is suggesting that it will mean the difference between a lower level or complete unknown team being able to win the tournament outright, but they're raising this issue as something noteworthy because there have been marketing ideas of labeling this tournament as a true indication of being able to finally determine who is the best of the best; who are the best players and what is the best team when all players are on equal ground. It'll still be awesome to watch though... I'm looking forward to catching the videos (I hope they will be uploaded to YouTube) when I get back from my National Guard duties over the weekend. Also, did you know that IGN is going to be streaming live multiplier sessions on Thursday, November 1 from noon to 2PM Pacific. www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/29/ign-live-presents-halo-4

Gamespot also did a live stream with T-Squared. It recently wrapped up, but I'm pretty sure they will upload a replay of the stream later.

By the way Witty, have you begun to think about what will be your favorite custom loadout or your go-to loadout?

By the way Witty, have you begun to think about what will be your favorite custom loadout or your go-to loadout? Don't really know what's good yet, but I do have some general ideas to try out. Weapon wise: plan to have one BR/carbine + secondary loadout, one DMR/LR loadout + secondary loadout, and a two primary loadout with AR + BR/Carbine/DMR/LR. Armor abilities (AA): plan to try out all, but my guess is that thruster pack, promethean vision, and hardlight shield are going to be my top 3 choices. Support upgrade (SU) / Tactical Package (TP): need to experiment with them first. Some loadout ideas: 1) "Tank" (toughness): AA = Hardlight Shield, TP = Shielding, SU = Stability 2) "Ninja" (stealth): AA = Active Camo, TP = Stealth, SU = Awareness 3) "Spy" (information): AA = Promethean Vision, TP = AA efficiency, SU = Sensor 4) "Flash" (speed): AA = Thruster Pack, TP = Mobility, SU = Dexterity 5) "Demolition master" (explosives): AA = Auto Sentry, TP = Grenadier (or Resupply, but I suspect it won't be as useful, since most players tend to use their grenades before deaths), SU = Explosives 6) "Weapon master" (2 primary weapons): AA = *, TP = Firepower, SU = Dexterity 7) "Vehicle master" (for Big Team games), AA = *, TP = Wheelman, SU= Gunner 8) "Ordinance master" (infinity slayer only): AA = *, TP = Requisition, SU = Ordinance Priority

Loadout 1 - My more aggressive default class for most gametypes Primary: Designated Markman Rifle (DMR) Secondary: Magnum Grenade: Plasma / Frag AA: Jet Pack TP: Shielding / AA Efficiency / Resupply / Mobility SP: Dexterity / Explosives / Sensor / Stealth Loadout 2 - My passive (infantry) BTB class Primary: Light Rifle (LR) Secondary: Plasma Pistol Grenade: Plasma AA: Active Camo / Regeneration Field / Jet Pack TP: AA Efficiency / Shielding / Mobility SP: Awareness Loadout 3 - My aggressive CQC class Primary: Assault Rifle (AR) / Storm Rifle / Suppressor Secondary: Magnum Grenade: Plasma / Frag AA: Jet Pack / Hardlight Shield TP: Mobility / Resupply / Shielding / AA Efficiency SP: Stealth / Dexterity / Sensor Loadout 4 - My aggressive (vehicular) BTB class Primary: Designated Markman Rifle (DMR) Secondary: Plasma Pistol Grenade: Plasma AA: Auto Sentry / Jet Pack / Promethean Vision / Hardlight Shield TP: Wheelman SP: Gunner Loadout 5 - My more passive default class for most gametypes Primary: Battle Rifle (BR) Secondary: Bolt Shot Grenade: Pulse AA: Jet Pack TP: AA Efficiency / Shielding / Resupply / Mobility SP: Dexterity / Explosives / Sensor / Stealth The funny thing is, I think I'm going to get real good use out of the Jet Pack in Halo 4, where as I rarely if ever used the Jet Pack in Halo Reach. The reasoning is mostly due to having the crouch button defaulted to the "B" button... I'm a huge user of the crouch jump to make the higher jumps, but that requires the crouch button to be defaulted to the Left Thumbstick (LS) which it has been for all the previous Halo games. Now, since it won't be easily accessible I think the Jet Pack AA will give me that extra height and it will be easily accessible with Halo 4's default control scheme. BTW, what is the Stealth Tactical Package? I haven't seen anything on a Stealth TP. REF. www.343industries.org/forum/topic/13436-halo-4-loadouts-detailed-weapons-armour-abilities-upgrades/

I am referring to the armor mod from "Wetwork" specialization. It has been confusing me as well, due to the inconsistency of its description (and the lack of) on various information outlet.

Just watched some exhibition matches on MLG Dallas stream. You are absolutely right, Jet Pack looks extremely useful. It provides a player with a lot of freedom movement wise, that's very powerful.
