campers - everyone's gonna hate them but there are many variations personally, i call tactical loitering, someone who is in a corner, waiting for people to come into their sights, with no previous warning. but what i find stupid, is that many people complain that "tactical loitering" is when you lay prone on a floor, near the door way, because you saw someone on the radar who is going to enter the room, and the best and easiest way to kill him is by surprise from the floor It's his fault, he ran in there carelessly, and had revealed himself on the minimap in the first place.

So Bobo, which overpowered SMG do you use as a crutch? First tell me which SMG is OP, I haven't found it. I constantly change my classes and don't stick with one gun or even class of guns. Playing with all the guns is one of the biggest draws of this game to me, and also why I found this site for gun info. But for arguments sake, would you say tactical loitering with all the tactical loitering tools COD gives bad players is generally equal in crutch terms to using an "OP" Blops 2 SMG? For argument's sake, I think running around with any laser sighted SMG is just as easy for "bad players" as throwing "tactical loitering tools." You ever play TF2? It's like being a Pyro: you can play it with a steering wheel. Just hold forward and shoot. In BO2, the maps are designed for it with 3-4 ways into every room, the connection model favors it and it takes little more than the most rudimentary twitch reflexes to be successful. You can see through walls with the MMS, you have effectively infinite room clearing grenades, Ghost got a big nerf, Snipers now have contrails, movement speeds are faster than ever and the sound design means that no one can hear you coming even with awareness/without dead silence. I think BO2 gave plenty of "bad players" who run around just as many crutches as they gave "bad players" who ca mp. If you're unable or unwilling to use the tools at your disposal effectively, don't knock others for doing so. We're all going to complain if someone sits in a room with Claymores and shock charges at 2 doors and is aiming right at the third behind a crate...in TDM. But if that's the room with our flag, hardpoint or bomb site? Then he's just using his brain and that's something this game community (and frankly, these boards) needs more of.

you're a bad pyro :u also i agree with the rest of that backing up that pyro comment from now on forth, make the distinction between pyros and w+m1 pyros. The first does pyro stuff, latter holds the w and mouse 1 buttons

You're right, I'm just generalizing. But that goes to my point too: there are bad "w+m1" pyros who complain about how Snipers are OP or how hard it is to kill Demos or any other classes that are strong against pyros. Then there are good pyros who reveal every enemy spy and always find a way to flank and axetinguisher 4 people in a row. And you don't hear a peep from those guys. They figured the game out, they got nothing to complain about, no excuses if they do poorly. They know it's on them to succeed and whining about isn't going to make them a better pyro.

People that call in game equipment cheap are just scrubs looking for something to blame. Betties are crouchable on reaction and shock charges practically sing. If you are dying to them on any kind of regular basis you suck, and should work on getting better rather than complaining here.

glad too see you've done the total map analysis after a week. Yes because it's going to take months, maybe years for me to see many of these maps have tons of rooms with campy corners, windows, headglitch spots, and many placed where lots of traffic funnels. The crutch nades are the ones I was referring to, betties, claymores, planted shock charges. I don't have a big problem with the offensive nades. My point about recoil and ttk is it's easier for the player with bad hand eye coordination to get the cheap kills he's set himself up for with a campy playstyle. Yes it's not exclusive to them, just helps them more. So maybe I worded that badly so it could be misinterpreted as if I was saying they had a type of skill. I only meant the type that aren't stupid enough to stay in the same spot the whole game. Maybe I should have just said the campers who are not completely stupid. I imagine you think that somehow is a skill, as long as the guy doesn't lose right?

I see you're point, but I'd still rather someone have to kill me with a gun than a tactical loitering method. I've already said myself the gun game is still too easy, but that's not what was being discussed until you wanted try and call me out on what smg I used as a crutch (my most kills is with the Type 25 btw). I never clarified, but yes I was talking about a TDM setting. I mostly play alone, and that's the best mode for playing alone. So the type of player you described us "all" complaining about is the type I was talking about. I get the feeling some in this thread play that way or think it's ok. Now other game modes you talk about, I totally understand the mentality there and love it when I have some decent players to play with who communicate.

Maybe the games get boring when many people are tactical loitering and relying on those instead of using their guns to earn kills? And the guns are easy!

Then run engineer, make those useless. If you dont check for betties/shock charges before you storm a room and end up dying, well tough shi t You hung on that too literally. when I said "bad players lose," what I meant was that you can either learn to adapt or keep getting your ass kicked. Or complain on the internet, sometimes that works too. I know what perks to use, I know how to not get my ass kicked. My point in all this is basically what I just said in the post above to Aids. I guess there's really nothing more to say than that.

What's funny is you're obviously the scrub here. It's fine though. Keep double posting about how all of your deaths are somebody else's fault; I'm sure those campers find your tears to be terrific lube.

If it makes you feel like you actually know what you are talking about here, then I'll be the scrub instead of the campers lol.
