hardly seems like an exploit when pulling your finger off the trigger for a milisecond does the exact same thing (albeit slightly slower, maybe. But even that's not sure)

Plus you wont be able to see anything while changing scopes, and the sensitivity/zoom obviously change in each setting... so I cant see it being useful at all TBH.

I'm pretty sure rapid fire keeps it at its maximum RoF the entire time anyways. But the exploit does in fact work.

No, Rapid Fire just doesn't increase the rate of fire of the first seven rounds.

I'm pretty sure rapid fire keeps it at its maximum RoF the entire time anyways. But the exploit does in fact work. It would just bump the RoF of the bullets after the initial 7. Since the first 7 are supposed to have a RoF of 937 that drops down to 625, RF should bring the others up to 750 (following Symthic's spreadsheets or 900, 600 and 720 following corpsecreate's spreadsheet).

833 RPM, since Rapid Fire is a 33% increase on most weapons.

I forgot to mention I'm on Xbox, I'm not sure if it works for PC or PS3. Well, I'm pretty sure that technically, it should work the same way on all platforms. Practically, however, the Hybrid Scope is pretty much unusable on PC unless you prefer holding down your right mouse button to aim. The default setting (which I use) is toggle ADS, but to switch magnification, you need to hold down RMB. Stupid? Absolutely. I've sent a tweet about this to pcdev. Can't hurt to try.

I've been using the akimbo HAMR setup (that's what the class name is now ) for a couple hours after I found it and it has really helped out engagements with multiple enemies. Also, the zoom in and zoom out isn't really a problem IMO. There's no delay between the switch, unlike the HAMR in MW3. It's a versatile setup at all ranges: continual fire at close range, slower and more accurate rate of fire for long distance and there's no RF penalties.

The default setting (which I use) is toggle ADS, but to switch magnification, you need to hold down RMB. Default bind to change sights is Shift. You know, sprint. Also, this hybrid sight resetting the burst is hilarious. Can you put a hybrid on ARs, specifically the AN94?

Next Question: I'm using the TAR right now, but its accuracy is a little lackluster. Can anyone recommend an auto AR for me? I'm willing to accept a select fired FAL, SWAT, M8, and SMR too. M8A1+Select fire+Suppressor+Stock/Extended clip/grip. Got Lodestar 4 games in a row with it. Also use toughness and scavenger aat the same time.

Type25. Best AR.
The M8A1 select fire is super weak, isnt it?

I just found a HAMR + Hybrid Optic exploit that allows you to have continual rate of fire at the highest RPM. Simply switch to either sight with the sprint button to regain the high RPM without ever taking your finger off the trigger. This is an awesome exploit regardless, but I wonder: Is there a delay from the time you stop shooting before the "fast" RoF kicks in again? Meaning, instead of having to get the Hybrid Optic and swap from one to another, couldn't you stop shooting and start again right away to get the same effect? Again, I know the time difference between stopping and starting to shoot again is worlds apart from continuously shooting and just switching the optic, but I'm curious now. The problem is that you will have to concentrate on two things at once and your aim will suffer. It's the same effect as shooting fast with semi-auto's at least for me. And as others said it's firing slower than changing sights

Type25. Best AR. The M8A1 select fire is super weak, isnt it? It's not super weak but I certainly wouldn't put a suppressor on it. The 3HK range would be so small at that point you might as well run the Type 25 with the same two attachments plus a bonus one for not needing SF.

I use the silencer mainly to hide the muzzle flash. The silencer isn't a must on this weapon but it helps me and also M8A1 kills in 3 shots opposed to type 25 4 and it has less recoil(at least easier to manage).

The silencer isn't a must on this weapon but it helps me and also M8A1 kills in 3 shots opposed to type 25 4 and it has less recoil(at least easier to manage). It kills in 3 shots at very short range already and the silencer just decreases that even further. I'm not saying it's a bad combination, but that you're not going to be getting that 3HK very often. If you're not getting much use out of that 3HK range, what you have is just a Type 25 with one attachment already in use. You could instead be using T25 with Suppressor/Stock/Dual Mags to have a reload advantage or use Quickdraw for the ADS speed.
