This might actually be the good version of MW2. Shit, there's a beta even.
Also, needs more Tango Sucka. >:C

I never played MW1, but I think a hybrid between MW2 and MW3 would be beast. Mainly add the perks/attachments/proficiencies/strike packages from MW3 into MW2.

I always thought it would be cool to have a sort of "Call of Duty Allstars" game with all the best of the best from every game. Guess they made it.....

I wish they would release a re-mastered COD4. I think the diehard COD community would go nuts.
All they would need to remove was frag x3 and the game would be amazing.

I think the community would get pretty bored with it in like a day. Only three killstreaks, everyone back to using only SP, no pick10, less create a class structure, a simply atrocious stat system, etc....yeah, if you start to think about it, it would get old very quick. nostalgia can be a tricky thing to deal with.

What about them?
IMHO, I'm sick of them. Like take Vacant, Crash and Ambush. If i never see Vacant, Crash or Ambush again, I'll be the happiest guy alive. I was tired of both of them after MW1, and then was forced to re-puke over and over, having them shoved down my mouth with MW2, as some bonus free maps thing. Please. No more. They were good for their time, but it's time to move on.
There's also, imho, nothing inherently unique about them, that would make playing them over and over worthwhile again. Most of them are just burned out middle eastern towns, that follow the same corrider/three pathway model every other CoD game uses.

A Call of Duty without all the unneeded clutter (that includes some of the CoD4 perks) on top of the best maps in the series sounds much more interesting than some of the stuff you listed Killstreaks? Screw that nonsense. Keep It Simple, Stupid. Pick 10 and less class structure? Pick 10 is nice, but it's not a bulletpoint for me. The only thing I really liked about it is the ability to run a pistol-only class. In fact, pick 10 valueing every single thing the same made it pretty limiting at times. More structure in classes probably means it ends up easier to balance as well

Just that they are heavily overplayed. Even the best map in the world starts to get a bit old after it has been played 300 times, let alone 500 times. So with that, there is nothing 'fun' imho, about going back to those maps. And as far as some of those maps, there is nothing really unique about them. Take 'Strike'. Middle eastern burned out town. Check. Main street with two flanking alleys. Check. Three second floor rooms overlooking parts of the street. Check. Exploding cars. Check. Seriously,...what i just described pretty much nails down 90%of the maps in CoD. I'm having a VERY difficult time in joining the bandwagon here, that a certain CoD game had THAT much better maps. That's ridiculous. If you like CoD, you enjoy the game, then by default, most games have good maps. I can't think of any iteration of this game that had bad maps.

I still have the game and played a few dozen games last November, right before BO2 came out. Did so out of boredom, mixing it up. My thoughts? I had fun but got bored. And the maps aren't any better. They're just typical CoD maps. Same old sh1t. Seriously, give me a few drinks, mix up the CoD games, and i would have a hard time recognizing one map from the next, in terms of what game it came from. People's nostalgia just gets a bit out of hand. MW1 was a fantastic, awe-inspiring incredible game........ ....for 2007 and 2008. But it's no longer 2007/08, it's 2013 and it's time to move on. Some of things CoD is now doing in the new(er) games just blows away the simplicity and datedness of MW1.

Thing is...it would sell. Hard. Pretty much CoD Online, but designed for the nextgenconsoles.
All your favorite old maps remastered from both IW and Treyarch. All your favorite weapons. The only thing they would need to work on is trimming the perks system.
I can dream.

But still, Frag x3 & Martyrdom are some of the most infuriating ideas I have seen.

Seriously, hearing Opfor going TANGO SUCKA and YOUR MOTHER brings back MW2 memories. IMO best COD in fun factor. BO2 Militia should have Opfor battlechatter and announcer.

What they should do.....if the next MW4 is the last game on the current console system, is just sell a merged game with Treyarch, best of both, and give people who buy it the newer game play elements, but include EVERY map from both Treyarch and IW. Like give us all 90 maps in one game.

You forgot some.....how about a MW4 'small map' special lobby, with this rotation below!!!
Hijacked and Slums (from BO2), Dome & Parrish (from MW3), Nuketown, Firing Range & Stadium (from BO1), Rust, TrailerPark and Scrapyard (MW2), Dome (From WaW), and Shipment (from MW1)
that would be an incredible 12 map lobby.
