If this happens. . . Party time. H3 modding and a good carbine, thanks for the dig.

The only thing missing from Halo 3 was the health bar. All I got from that was: Shields up: Yeah, you're good. All that red stuff on the floor is just pocket spaghetti now. Shields flashing: RUN AWAAAY! RUN AWAAAY! Lying still: HE'S DEEEAAAAAD.

That's not exactly true. A lot of people didn't realize it, but there is a hidden health bar in Halo 3. Each player has 45 health points and 70 shield points. When a player's shields fail, their health becomes vulnerable. If the player avoids taking damage for 10 seconds, their health will slowly regenerate at a rate of 9 points per second.
I only knew this cuz I played Halo 3 like a religion (and I would again). So I enjoyed abusing the fact that most people didn't entirely understand the health mechanics.

True, but unless your opponent wasn't using any of the marksman rifles and didn't know how to headshot, being unshielded meant your death was just one headshot away.

I miss VIP; that was an amazing concept for a game mode on larger maps.
