For bros who have watched the first episode of Halo Nightfall, what do you think?

As a long time Halo fan, IMHO the production is solid enough (although the portrait of Elite Zealot left a lot to be desired). However, I am very biased as I can get very excited in seeing anything Halo related

.

Hopefully the TV series Spielberg is producing for next year's Halo 5 release is going to be even better...

I was disappointing by it. It felt like I was watching a crappy sci-fi channel show with a slightly deeper budget for special effects. I too have been a long time Halo fan and like that the franchise is supporting things like Halo Nightfall, but live-action filming was probably the wrong way to go on the story telling. I would have preferred to see CGI animations like the ones Blur did for Halo 2's cut-scenes used to tell these extra stories from the Halo universe.
