That's why I loved Arena Shooters, minimal weapon choices but with wide variety in what they did.

I guess; but at the end of the day Call of Duty sells itself as a modern(ish) military shooter. All a weapon in this subgenre really does is define your ideal range of engagement, in an arena shooter your weapon can do more than that. To that end Call of Duty wouldn't be very different with 10 weapon archetypes; maybe fewer. With Black Ops 3 it seems that Call of Duty is trying to adopt more elements from class-based shooters into its game. Nothing highly synergistic, but as a mechanic it's a worthy replacement for killstreaks. For all that's changed in CoD; maybe it could use a change or two in its combat loop.

Also no auto aim "at all" for snipers? They better be really Foxtroting powerful and have some major general improvements to support that.. The Specialist one shot kill weapons don't have aim assist either. Why use your ability to get a weaker weapon when the DSR basically aims itself?

The only LMG we've seen so far, the BRM, has an 8 second belt-fed reload but only a 75 round mag. Thanks, Vonderhurr.

I heard there will be an attachment for it that will quiet your shots and not make the red dot appear on the map.

I wonder about this. How the hell does Driftor actually gauge this measurement, from just a few hours of demo playing? No one's eye speed viewing abilities are able to discern differences that small. I don't get how people claim that you 'die so fast' in Ghosts and the BO2's TTK was overall lower when it was just about the same. There hasn't been a large change in TTK since BO1/MW3 (when they dropped Stopping Power). Because the hit detection in Ghost is 10000000000000000000 times better?

The real question is...what about Theater Mode? Someone asked about Theater on Twitter and they were like "What, are you dense? Are you retarded or something? Who the hell do you think we are? We're goddamn Treyarch." It was a little intense but Theater Mode is important so I appreciate their gusto.

Which sucks in comparison. Theater Mode isn't good because you could share gameplay, that was part of that, but because it was just that, a theater. You could control gameplay speed, you could control camera angles, whose perspective you watched from. You could splice clips together etc...You could actually manipulate and control the gameplay into something more than just, here watch me play this game. Share is nice, I've used it a couple of times, but it's just that, sharing. It's not creating.
