There have been a few connection issues, but this is a server stress test, so the more issues discovered the better. But honestly besides a few really bad games, I haven't had a problem with connections

Yeah that invisible wall should really be an actual wall.
When the Specialist dialogue actually sounds like natural banter it's awesome. But mostly it's slightly cringeworthy and sometimes extremely cringeworthy. And that obnoxious brostep that plays at the beginning for (insert faction name here) probably wouldn't even have been cool in 2013.
Anyone know where I can download AW's multiplayer menu themes?

Trouble getting into the games, yes. Matchmaking issues, yes, but I have not seen any widespread claims on lag. One suggestion is to make sure your PS4 firmware is up to date (version 2.57).
Yeah, from the streaming I watched, whatever the characters are doing when waiting for the game to start suck so bad. And it is the player controlled character that has been talking from time to time? If yes, that's a bad decision because it breaks the feeling of immersion from First Person.

Your connection situation sounds horrible. Have you tried other games to confirm that this is definitely a problem with BLOPS3 beta? Other games have been fine. Though granted on the PS4 side I've only tried Rocket League. Maybe I'll have more luck when Xbox gets rolling next week.

It looks like they should do the following to balance the shieva:
- increase the shieva's firerate significantly - make rapid fire on the shieva reduce range - make high caliber on the shieva reduce fire rate
That way people can choose between:
- a good marksman rifle - a spammy marksman rifle with less 2hk range - a 1 headshot marksman rifle that fires slightly slower - a 1 headshot spammy marksman rifle with less 2hk range and less 1 headshot range

Beta news: server side MM fix applied, MM should now improve. Game side patch is rolling out, the version you should be getting to is 2.5.20.2, further improve MM and address some minor UI issues As mentioned earlier, also make sure that your PS4 firmware is up to date at version 2.57. In SnD they added how many are alive in each team on the hud. Hardpoint is now 5 minutes long but the timer doesn't go down of a team is in control of the hard point. If it's contested/vacant it does. It makes it possible to come back from a big gap of points if you're determined enough which feels pretty good. The cap is still at 250 points.

I think there's a good game hiding in there, I think if it weren't for my connection problems I'd be enjoying it quite a bit, in the same way I enjoy BO2. It's hard to say though, with the new FAL feeling nerfed and apparently Stock for ARs is also nerfed, maybe I won't be able to dominate. I really don't have fun with COD anymore unless I'm wrecking people. I do think it's a supremely cynical game in the way it copies from Destiny and to a lesser extent Titanfall. Nothing in this game feels new or fresh at all. In DOM, they removed the stage of "neutralizing". When you jump on a enemy controlled flag, you go straight to captured. It looks like a positive change to encourage more aggressive game play. I don't even quite remember how it worked in BO2, but I think it was the same, no? Anyway, the one thing I did notice is that when the game is 199 to 199 and someone has 2-1 flags... it awards a 200-200 draw. Kind of lame.

I actually like that, because it's technically whoever gets to 200 that wins, and technically at 199-199 with 2-1 caps, both teams hit 200 at the same time. Without adding in an overtime, it's the best system I think.
Imagine if Hockey games that were tied had winners and losers based on who actively had the puck in their possession at the time the buzzer went off, even if either team has the potential to score, just because one team is more likely to score. Like I said, both teams have equal opportunity to score 200, not 201, so it's a tie.

Don't remember if this was in bo2 but the announcer tells you when the UAV is 50% done and 5% done. I like how it specifically says "the UAV is at 5% power level"

I think I'm still one level short on the current level cap... still laggy as hell. The hand cannon super is ok, did get a collateral with it, but would much rather rock the Tempest. High caliber rounds on the Sheiva are one hit kill headshots out to... well, I don't know how far but it's pretty gosh darn golly gee whiz far. Stock may be nerfed, but still a must have. Way too slow without it. I need to try that fourth SMG, after going exclusively Sheiva for a while I want to see what a little speed does for my game.
I love the Tempest:
The thing about the Sheiva is with the lowered fire rate it's really bad close up, with the FAL I could compete at close range. And even worse is the fact that melee is no longer a one hit kill, so you're really up shit creek. But, if you powerslide into a melee it seems to be a one hit kill, so maybe I just need to get accustomed to the technique. I did get instamelted with a melee combo one time... I don't know if it's a timing thing or what, first hit didn't kill me, second hit followed up within 100ms. I couldn't replicate it at all. Maybe there's a melee attachment I didn't notice, I've been on the Sheiva full time.

Reached the level cap. Rapid fire is a definite improvement on the Sheiva but man do I have to sink a lot of points into this thing for it to still not be as good as a fairly garden variety FAL.
The ping numbers are bullshit btw. I've seen it range from 7 to 100ms in the course of a few seconds. I get a 14ms ping to my gateway, give me a break Treyarch. Oh and I also see they didn't fix the 7v5 bug. Good going guys. Maybe one day You'll figure out that 10 year old inherited code.

The Hellstorm is also insane. I'm not even joking when I say I've gotten more 4x and 5x kills with it than all the previous Predators and friends in all the previous CODs put together so far.

I also apparently had no clue that my Vesper was completely out of ammo, good thing they all decided to dance around in their spawn for 10 seconds.

I mostly get double kills with the Hellstorm, but if you call it in at the right time wiping the enemy team is easy. I've actually been wrecking with the Dart, getting 2 or 3 kills with it is easy and 4 is doable. If you only manage 1 you goof'd.
Don't put suppressors on anything.
The Razorback is OP at medium range, usable in all situations.
The Kuda is okay, I need to use it more.
The Weevil is amazing at CQC, seems pretty garbage for anything else.
The Man-O-War is OP at medium range, solid at close range if you ADS and don't miss, good at long range.
The ARK is okay, I need to use it more.
The HVK is okay, I've used it a lot. Some people will definitely wreck with it, but I don't think it's gonna be a top-tier-er.

Both teams hit 200+ at the exact same time. Domination is won by whoever hits 200 points first, it is not won by just holding 2-3 objectives. Maybe if the game had a timer and didn't split the rounds by each 100 points, I'd agree, but it's clear it's strictly point based, not time or objectives controlled based.

FYI: on the beta health news front, Treyarch acknowledged that there are still MM issues and they are working on it.
Hopefully with all of these fixes, the beta on XONE and PC next week can be a lot smoother.

Today I've been getting nothing but p2p connections... you know the ones, one player with green bars, 11 with yellow to red because green guy is downloading porn. Didn't host migrate until the guy quit. Host migration crashed the game. Xbox Live Compute this ain't.
