Hey , Can you tell me how much the knife does in Zombies? Oh, and is it true the Raygun is not an instakill after round 16?

150
Round 16 may be the earliest one will notice that zombies will need more than one shot, but the direct impact damage of 1000 has the blast radius damage added to it.
Like the Flamethrower, the blast radius damage of the Ray Gun increases along with the zombie's health, but as times goes on and as its limited ammo is spent more excessively, the Ray Gun becomes far less effective.
By round 25, the random range of damage from the Ray Gun will often require two to three shots for the undead. There will be the occasional one-shot and a daunting five-shot for a zombie, but pretty much, by Round 16, the Ray Gun is not (always) an instakill.

Or the shotguns?
