Hey Den, I'm contemplating using the flamethrower (with double tap of course) instead of a shotgun and I was wondering if this has any drawbacks (besides the 2 hit kill and slow movement of the flame) such as the time it takes to begin shooting from a sprint (which seems long to me) as well as movement speed. I was also wondering if their are any stats on it's spread/range as well as what aiming down the sights does to it statistically. Also, do you show up on radar from shooting the flamethrower? Thanks

It takes approximately 0.4 seconds to "Sprint Out" and fire.
It takes at least 0.85 seconds to switch from one weapon to the flamethrower. At least 0.35 seconds to ready the flamethrower after throwing a grenade.
Flamethrower has a Move Speed of 1, same as the submachineguns.
For consoles, the flamethrower has an aim assist and "red crosshair" range of 485. The Drips of flame that cause damage travel slightly further than that, so the effective range is just beyond two tank lengths.
Aiming Down the Sights has no effect on the flamethrower in MP; it already fires at 0 spread from the hip.
Even if the flamethrower were not silenced, the range you have to be and the big fire is sure to give the enemy an idea of where you are (yes, you show up).
