Because the grip improves kick, regardless of Double Tap...? The title of that thread is "Spamtastics Guide", firing nonstop, which isn't very telling of how the weapon with perks and attachments would perform in a fight. Myself shooting a wall with a grip and double tap gets me the same effect as if I had no grip: a climb to the top left of the maximum kick area. Grip and no tap earns the grouping that thread shows. Blue is with the Grip. Red is with Tap and Grip. The impacts in the bottom right began to disappear after reaching the decal limit.

i guess it has to do with the time it takes the gun to return to a nutreal state and bullet fire time/rpm. the gun is not zeroing out before the next shot so it kicks more cause the second shot came from a higher point than zero.
