Is the difference between a normal scope (sniper scope) and the x12 a lot? Can anyone posts pictures comparing the two, please? ;D Oh and about the sniper spotting scope(spot), what does it do? While using it i didn't notice a difference.

There is a difference between all the normals and the x12. The scope stays the same but has increased zoom so you don't notice it as much as the x4 which looks different.
The spotting scope will automatically make you spot any enemies if they are within a certain range. I'm not sure what the range is but it's not going to spot guys across maps.

The Field of View for the default scope if 10°. The Field of view for the 12x Scope is 6°.
That's about a 1.7x zoom increase.
SPOT will only work up to the spotting cone's range, which is 75 meters. Beyond that range, you have to manually spot enemies right on your crosshair.

Spotting only reaches a maximum of 350m.
